Who worries for those who worry?
The Plan of the LORD is in place.
Worry need not apply.

You have to be sure about yourself before you can feel sure about others.

Day 251

The 297 Day Bible – Day 251
Christ in the Prophets
Hosea Chapter 1

1 The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

2 When the LORD spoke at first with Hosea, {P}
the LORD said unto Hosea:
‘Go, take unto thee a wife of harlotry and children of harlotry; for the land doth commit great harlotry, departing from the LORD.’

3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; and she conceived, and bore him a son.

4 And the LORD said unto him:
‘Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will visit the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.

5 And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.’

6 And she conceived again, and bore a daughter. And He said unto him:
‘Call her name Lo-ruhamah; for I will no more have compassion upon the house of Israel, that I should in any wise pardon them.

7 But I will have compassion upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, nor by horses, nor by horsemen.’

8 Now when she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she conceived, and bore a son.

9 And He said:
‘Call his name Lo-ammi; for ye are not My people, and I will not be yours.’ {P}

Hosea Chapter 2

1 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass that, instead of that which was said unto them:
‘Ye are not My people’,
it shall be said unto them:
‘Ye are the children of the living God.’

2 And the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint themselves one head, and shall go up out of the land; for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

3 Say ye unto your brethren:
‘Ammi’;
and to your sisters,
‘Ruhamah.’

4 Plead with your mother, plead; for she is not My wife, neither am I her husband; and let her put away her harlotries from her face, and her adulteries from between her breasts;

5 Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst.

6 And I will not have compassion upon her children; for they are children of harlotry.

7 For their mother hath played the harlot, she that conceived them hath done shamefully; for she said:
‘I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.’

8 Therefore, behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and I will make a wall against her, that she shall not find her paths.

9 And she shall run after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them, and she shall seek them, but shall not find them; then shall she say:
‘I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now.’

10 For she did not know that it was I that gave her the corn, and the wine, and the oil, and multiplied unto her silver and gold, which they used for Baal.

11 Therefore will I take back My corn in the time thereof, and My wine in the season thereof, and will snatch away My wool and My flax given to cover her nakedness.

12 And now will I uncover her shame in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of My hand.

13 I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feasts, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her appointed seasons.

14 And I will lay waste her vines and her fig-trees, whereof she hath said:
‘These are my hire that my lovers have given me’;
and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.

15 And I will visit upon her the days of the Baalim, wherein she offered unto them, and decked herself with her ear-rings and her jewels, and went after her lovers, and forgot Me, saith the LORD. {S}

16 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly unto her.

17 And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope; and she shall respond there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.

18 And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call Me Ishi, and shalt call Me no more Baali.

19 For I will take away the names of the Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be mentioned by their name.

20 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground; and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the land, and will make them to lie down safely.

21 And I will betroth thee unto Me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto Me in righteousness, and in justice, and in lovingkindness, and in compassion.

22 And I will betroth thee unto Me in faithfulness; and thou shalt know the LORD. {P}

23 And it shall come to pass in that day, I will respond, saith the LORD, I will respond to the heavens, and they shall respond to the earth;

24 And the earth shall respond to the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall respond to Jezreel.

25 And I will sow her unto Me in the land; and I will have compassion upon her that had not obtained compassion; and I will say to them that were not My people: ‘Thou art My people’;
and they shall say:
‘Thou art my God.’ {P}

Christ in the Writings
Ecclesiastes Chapter 12

1 Remember then thy Creator in the days of thy youth, before the evil days come, and the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say:
‘I have no pleasure in them’;

2 Before the sun, and the light, and the moon, and the stars, are darkened, and the clouds return after the rain;

3 In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out shall be darkened in the windows,

4 And the doors shall be shut in the street, when the sound of the grinding is low; and one shall start up at the voice of a bird, and all the daughters of music shall be brought low;

5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and terrors shall be in the way; and the almond-tree shall blossom, and the grasshopper shall drag itself along, and the caperberry shall fail; because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets;

6 Before the silver cord is snapped asunder, and the golden bowl is shattered, and the pitcher is broken at the fountain, and the wheel falleth shattered, into the pit;

7 And the dust returneth to the earth as it was, and the spirit returneth unto God who gave it.

8 Vanity of vanities, saith Koheleth; all is vanity.

9 And besides that Koheleth was wise, he also taught the people knowledge; yea, he pondered, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.

10 Koheleth sought to find out words of delight, and that which was written uprightly, even words of truth.

11 The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails well fastened are those that are composed in collections; they are given from one shepherd.

12 And furthermore, my son, be admonished:
of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

13 The end of the matter, all having been heard: fear God, and keep His commandments; for this is the whole man.

14 For God shall bring every work into the judgment concerning every hidden thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil. {P}

Christ from the Witne
The Epistle to the Hebrews – Chapter 4
܀ ܕܠܘܬ ܥܒܪ̈ܝܐ ܀

1 Let us fear, therefore, lest while there is a firm promise of entering into his rest, any among you should be found coming short of entering.

2 For to us also is the announcement, as well as to them:
but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not mingled with the faith of those who heard it.

3 But we, who have believed, do enter into rest. But as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, that they shall not enter into my rest:
for lo, the works of God existed from the foundation of the world.

4 As he said of the sabbath, God rested on the seventh day from all his works.

5 And here again, he said, They shall not enter into my rest.

6 Therefore, because there was a place, whither one and another might enter; and those earlier persons, to whom the announcement was made, entered not, because they believed not:

7 again he established another day, a long time afterwards; as above written, that David said, Today, if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

8 For if Joshua, the son of Nun, had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterwards of another day.

9 Therefore it is established, that the people of God are to have a sabbath.

10 For he who had entered into his rest, hath also rested from his works, as God did from his.

11 Let us, therefore, strive to enter into that rest; lest we fall short, after the manner of them who believed not.

12 For the word of God is living, and all-efficient, and sharper than a two-edged sword, and entereth even to the severance of the soul and the spirit, and of the joints and the marrow and the bones, and judgeth the thoughts and reasonings of the heart:

13 neither is there any creature, which is concealed from before him; but every thing is naked and manifest before his eyes, to whom we are to give account.

14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest, Jesus the Messiah, the son of God, who hath ascended to heaven; let us persevere in professing him.

15 For we have not a high priest, who cannot sympathize with our infirmity; but [one] who was tempted in all respects like us, aside from sin.

16 Let us, therefore, approach with assurance to the throne of his grace, that we may obtain mercy, and may find grace for assistance in the time of affliction.

The voice of the LORD, JESUSbible III

Psalms

29,1 A Psalm of David. Ascribe unto the LORD, O ye sons of might, ascribe unto the LORD glory and strength.

29,2 Ascribe unto the LORD the glory due unto His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

29,3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; {N}
the God of glory thundereth, even the LORD upon many waters.

29,4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

29,5 The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

29,6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox.

29,7 The voice of the LORD heweth out flames of fire.

29,8 The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

29,9 The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and strippeth the forests bare; {N}
and in His temple all say:
‘Glory.’

29,10 The LORD sat enthroned at the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth as King for ever.

29,11 The LORD will give strength unto His people; the LORD will bless his people with peace. {P}

Day 250

The 297 Day Bible – Day 250
Christ in the Prophets
Ezekiel Chapter 47

1 And he brought me back unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward, for the forefront of the house looked toward the east; and the waters came down from under, from the right side of the house, on the south of the altar.

2 Then brought he me out by the way of the gate northward, and led me round by the way without unto the outer gate, by the way of the gate that looketh toward the east; and, behold, there trickled forth waters on the right side.

3 When the man went forth eastward with the line in his hand, he measured a thousand cubits, and he caused me to pass through the waters, waters that were to the ankles.

4 Again he measured a thousand, and caused me to pass through the waters, waters that were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and caused me to pass through waters that were to the loins.

5 Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass through; for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed through.

6 And he said unto me:
‘Hast thou seen this, O son of man?’
Then he led me, and caused me to return to the bank of the river.

7 Now when I had been brought back, behold, upon the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.

8 Then said he unto me:
‘These waters issue forth toward the eastern region, and shall go down into the Arabah; and when they shall enter into the sea, into the sea of the putrid waters, the waters shall be healed.

9 And it shall come to pass, that every living creature wherewith it swarmeth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live; and there shall be a very great multitude of fish; for these waters are come thither, that all things be healed and may live whithersoever the river cometh.

10 And it shall come to pass, that fishers shall stand by it from En-gedi even unto En-eglaim; there shall be a place for the spreading of nets; their fish shall be after their kinds, as the fish of the Great Sea, exceeding many.

11 But the miry places thereof, and the marshes thereof, shall not be healed; they shall be given for salt.

12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow every tree for food, whose leaf shall not wither, neither shall the fruit thereof fail; it shall bring forth new fruit every month, because the waters thereof issue out of the sanctuary; and the fruit thereof shall be for food, and the leaf thereof for healing.’ {P}

13 Thus saith the Lord GOD:
‘This shall be the border, whereby ye shall divide the land for inheritance according to the twelve tribes of Israel, Joseph receiving two portions.

14 And ye shall inherit it, one as well as another, concerning which I lifted up My hand to give it unto your fathers; and this land shall fall unto you for inheritance.

15 And this shall be the border of the land:
on the north side, from the Great Sea, by the way of Hethlon, unto the entrance of Zedad;

16 Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazer-hatticon, which is by the border of Hauran.

17 And the border from the sea shall be Hazar-enon at the border of Damascus, and on the north northward is the border of Hamath. This is the north side.

18 And the east side, between Hauran and Damascus and Gilead, and the land of Israel, by the Jordan, from the border unto the east sea shall ye measure. This is the east side.

19 And the south side southward shall be from Tamar as far as the waters of Meriboth-kadesh, to the Brook, unto the Great Sea. This is the south side southward.
20 And the west side shall be the Great Sea, from the border as far as over against the entrance of Hamath. This is the west side.

21 So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel.

22 And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you and to the strangers that sojourn among you, who shall beget children among you; and they shall be unto you as the home-born among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.

23 And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD. {P}

Ezekiel Chapter 48

1 Now these are the names of the tribes:
from the north end, beside the way of Hethlon to the entrance of Hamath, Hazar-enan, at the border of Damascus, northward, beside Hamath; and they shall have their sides east and west:
Dan, one portion.

2 And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side:
Asher, one portion.

3 And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side:
Naphtali, one portion.

4 And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side:
Manasseh, one portion.

5 And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side:
Ephraim, one portion.

6 And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side:
Reuben, one portion.

7 And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side:
Judah, one portion.

8 And by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the offering which ye shall set aside, five and twenty thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the portions, from the east side unto the west side; and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.

9 The offering that ye shall set apart unto the LORD shall be five and twenty thousand reeds in length, and ten thousand in breadth.

10 And for these, even for the priests, shall be the holy offering; toward the north five and twenty thousand [in length], and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length; and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst thereof.

11 The sanctified portion shall be for the priests of the sons of Zadok, that have kept My charge, that went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.

12 And it shall be unto them a portion set apart from the offering of the land, a thing most holy, by the border of the Levites.

13 And answerable unto the border of the priests, the Levites shall have five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth; all the length shall be five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.

14 And they shall not sell of it, nor exchange, nor alienate the first portion of the land; for it is holy unto the LORD.

15 And the five thousand that are left in the breadth, in front of the five and twenty thousand, shall be for common use, for the city, for dwelling and for open land; and the city shall be in the midst thereof.

16 And these shall be the measures thereof:
the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.

17 And the city shall have open land:
toward the north two hundred and fifty, and toward the south two hundred and fifty, and toward the east two hundred and fifty, and toward the west two hundred and fifty.

18 And the residue in the length, answerable unto the holy offering, shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten thousand westward; and it shall be answerable unto the holy offering; and the increase thereof shall be for food unto them that serve the city.

19 And they that serve the city, out of all the tribes of Israel, shall till it.

20 All the offering shall be five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand; ye shall set apart the holy offering foursquare, with the possession of the city.

21 And the residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy offering and of the possession of the city, in front of the five and twenty thousand of the offering toward the east border, and westward in front of the five and twenty thousand toward the west border, answerable unto the portions, it shall be for the prince; and the holy offering and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof.

22 Thus the possession of the Levites, and the possession of the city, shall be in the midst of that which is the prince’s; between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin shall be the prince’s.

23 And as for the rest of the tribes:
from the east side unto the west side:
Benjamin, one portion.

24 And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side:
Simeon, one portion. 2

5 And by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side:
Issachar, one portion.

26 And by the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side:
Zebulun, one portion.

27 And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side:
Gad, one portion.

28 And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the Brook, unto the Great Sea.

29 This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord GOD. {S}

30 And these are the goings out of the city:
on the north side four thousand and five hundred reeds by measure;

31 and the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel; three gates northward:
the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one;

32 and at the east side four thousand and five hundred reeds; and three gates:
even the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one;

33 and at the south side four thousand and five hundred reeds by measure; and three gates:
the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; the gate of Zebulun, one;

34 at the west side four thousand and five hundred reeds, with their three gates:
the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one.

35 It shall be eighteen thousand reeds round about. And the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.’ {P}

Christ in the Writings
Ecclesiastes Chapter 11

1 Cast thy bread upon the waters, for thou shalt find it after many days.

2 Divide a portion into seven, yea, even into eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.

3 If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth; and if a tree fall in the south, or in the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there shall it be.

4 He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.

5 As thou knowest not what is the way of the wind, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child; even so thou knowest not the work of God who doeth all things.

6 In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thy hand; for thou knowest not which shall prosper, whether this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

7 And the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun.

8 For if a man live many years, let him rejoice in them all, and remember the days of darkness, for they shall be many. All that cometh is vanity.

9 Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thy heart, and in the sight of thine eyes; but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.

10 Therefore remove vexation from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh; for childhood and youth are vanity.

Christ from the Witnesses
The Epistle to the Hebrews – Chapter 3
܀ ܕܠܘܬ ܥܒܪ̈ܝܐ ܀

1 Wherefore, my holy brethren, who are called with a calling that is from heaven, consider this Legate and High Priest of our profession, Jesus the Messiah:

2 who was faithful to him that made him, as was Moses in all his house.

3 For much greater is the glory of this man, than that of Moses; just as the glory of the builder of a house, is greater than that of the edifice.

4 For every house is built by some man; but he who buildeth all things is God.

5 And Moses, as a servant, was faithful in all the house, for an attestation to those things that were to be spoken by him:

6 but the Messiah as the son, [is] over his own house; and we are his house, if we retain unto the end assurance, and the triumph of hope in him.

7 Because the spirit of holiness hath said:
To-day, if ye will hear his voice,

8 harden not your hearts to anger him, like the provocators, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness,

9 when your fathers tempted me, and proved, [and] saw my works forty years.

10 Therefore I was disgusted with that generation, and said:
This is a people, whose heart wandereth, and they have not known my ways:

11 so that I swore in my wrath, that they should not enter into my rest.

12 Beware, therefore, my brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart that believeth not, and ye depart from the living God.

13 But examine yourselves all the days, during the day which is called to-day; and let none of you be hardened, through the deceitfulness of sin.

14 For we have part with the Messiah, if we persevere in this firm confidence, from the beginning to the end:

15 as it is said, To-day, if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, to anger him.

16 But who were they that heard, and angered him ? It was not all they, who came out of Egypt under Moses.

17 And with whom was he disgusted forty years, but with those who sinned, and whose carcasses fell in the wilderness ?

18 and of whom swore he, that they should not enter into his rest, but of those who believed not ?

19 So we see that they could not enter, because they believed not.
