‘The Son of man is to be lifted up’ – Talmidim 25

Besorot 25 The Gospel Reports devotional reading for Day 25. Christ JESUS was literally lifted up from the ground in His death, from the grave in His resurrection, and in the sight of all men reviewing His victory. For this all men look up to Him and see eternal life.

John 10-12

John 10:1 – ܐܰܡܺܝܢ ܐܰܡܺܝܢ ܐܳܡܰܪ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܥܳܐܶܠ ܡܶܢ ܬ݁ܰܪܥܳܐ ܠܰܛܝܳܪܳܐ ܕ݁ܥܳܢܳܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܣܳܠܶܩ ܡܶܢ ܕ݁ܽܘܟ݁ܳܐ ܐ݈ܚܪܳܢܝܳܐ ܗܰܘ ܓ݁ܰܢܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܗܽܘ ܘܓ݂ܰܝܳܣܳܐ

John 10:1 – אַמִין אַמִין אָמַר אנָא לכוּן דּמַן דּלָא עָאֵל מֵן תַּרעָא לַטיָרָא דּעָנָא אֵלָא סָלֵק מֵן דּוּכָּא אחרָניָא הַו גַּנָבָא הוּ וגַיָסָא .

John 10:1 – Verily, verily, I say to you, That he who doth not enter by the door into the fold of the flock, but climbeth up in some other place, he is a thief and a robber.

John 10:2 – ܗܰܘ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܥܳܐܶܠ ܡܶܢ ܬ݁ܰܪܥܳܐ ܪܳܥܝܳܐ ܗܽܘ ܕ݁ܥܳܢܳܐ

John 10:2 – הַו דֵּין דּעָאֵל מֵן תַּרעָא רָעיָא הוּ דּעָנָא .

John 10:2 – But he that entereth by the door, is the shepherd of the flock.

John 10:3 – ܘܰܠܗܳܢܳܐ ܢܳܛܰܪ ܬ݁ܰܪܥܳܐ ܦ݁ܳܬ݂ܰܚ ܠܶܗ ܬ݁ܰܪܥܳܐ ܘܥܳܢܳܐ ܫܳܡܥܳܐ ܩܳܠܶܗ ܘܥܶܪܒ݁ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܩܳܪܶܐ ܒ݁ܰܫܡܳܗܰܝܗܽܘܢ ܘܡܰܦ݁ܶܩ ܠܗܽܘܢ

John 10:3 – וַלהָנָא נָטַר תַּרעָא פָּתַח לֵה תַּרעָא ועָנָא שָׁמעָא קָלֵה ועֵרבַּוהי קָרֵא בַּשׁמָהַיהוּן ומַפֵּק להוּן .

John 10:3 – And to him the door-keeper openeth the door; and the sheep hear his voice. And he calleth the sheep by their names, and leadeth them out.

John 10:4 – ܘܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܐܦ݁ܶܩ ܥܳܢܶܗ ܩܕ݂ܳܡܶܝܗ ܐܳܙܶܠ ܘܥܶܪܒ݁ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܺܝܠܶܗ ܐܳܙܺܠ݈ܝܢ ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܪܶܗ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܝܳܕ݂ܥܺܝܢ ܩܳܠܶܗ

John 10:4 – ומָא דַּאפֵּק עָנֵה קדָמֵיה אָזֵל ועֵרבַּוהי דִּילֵה אָזִלין בָּתרֵה מֵטֻל דּיָדעִין קָלֵה .

John 10:4 – And when he hath led out his flock, he goeth before it; and his sheep follow him, because they know his voice.

John 10:5 – ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܰܪ ܢܽܘܟ݂ܪܳܝܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܠܳܐ ܐܳܙܳܠ݈ܐ ܥܳܢܳܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܥܳܪܩܳܐ ܡܶܢܶܗ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܝܳܕ݂ܥܳܐ ܩܳܠܶܗ ܕ݁ܢܽܘܟ݂ܪܳܝܳܐ

John 10:5 – בָּתַר נוּכרָיָא דֵּין לָא אָזָלא עָנָא אֵלָא עָרקָא מֵנֵה דּלָא יָדעָא קָלֵה דּנוּכרָיָא .

John 10:5 – But after a stranger the flock will not follow, but it fleeth from him; because it knoweth not the voice of a stranger.

John 10:6 – ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܦ݁ܶܠܶܐܬ݂ܳܐ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܗܶܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܠܳܐ ܝܺܕ݂ܰܥܘ ܡܳܢܳܐ ܡܰܠܶܠ ܥܰܡܗܽܘܢ

John 10:6 – הָדֵא פֵּלֵאתָא אֵמַר להוּן יֵשׁוּע הֵנוּן דֵּין לָא יִדַעו מָנָא מַלֵל עַמהוּן .

John 10:6 – This allegory spake JESUS to them; but they knew not what he said to them.

John 10:7 – ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܬ݁ܽܘܒ݂ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܐܰܡܺܝܢ ܐܰܡܺܝܢ ܐܳܡܰܪ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܶܐܢܳܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܬ݁ܰܪܥܶܗ ܕ݁ܥܳܢܳܐ

John 10:7 – אָמַר להוּן דֵּין תּוּב יֵשׁוּע אַמִין אַמִין אָמַר אנָא לכוּן דֵּאנָא אנָא תַּרעֵה דּעָנָא .

John 10:7 – And JESUS said to them again:

Verily, verily, I say to you, That I am the door of the flock.

John 10:8 – ܘܟ݂ܽܠܗܽܘܢ ܐܰܝܠܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܶܐܬ݂ܰܘ ܓ݁ܰܢܳܒ݂ܶܐ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ ܘܓ݂ܰܝܳܣܶܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܫܶܡܥܰܬ݂ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ ܥܳܢܳܐ

John 10:8 – וכֻלהוּן אַילֵין דֵּאתַו גַּנָבֵא אֵנוּן וגַיָסֵא אֵלָא לָא שֵׁמעַת אֵנוּן עָנָא .

John 10:8 – All those who have come, were thieves and robbers:

but the flock did not hear them.

John 10:9 – ܐܶܢܳܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܬ݁ܰܪܥܳܐ ܘܒ݂ܺܝ ܐܶܢ ܐ݈ܢܳܫ ܢܶܥܽܘܠ ܢܺܚܶܐ ܘܢܶܥܽܘܠ ܘܢܶܦ݁ܽܘܩ ܘܪܶܥܝܳܐ ܢܶܫܟ݁ܰܚ

John 10:9 – אֵנָא אנָא תַּרעָא ובִי אֵן אנָשׁ נֵעוּל נִחֵא ונֵעוּל ונֵפּוּק ורֵעיָא נֵשׁכַּח .

John 10:9 – I am the door:

and if any enter by me, he will live, and will come in and go out, and will find pasture.

John 10:10 – ܓ݁ܰܢܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܐܳܬ݂ܶܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܕ݁ܢܶܓ݂ܢܽܘܒ݂ ܘܰܕ݂ܢܶܩܛܽܘܠ ܘܰܕ݂ܢܰܘܒ݁ܶܕ݂ ܐܶܢܳܐ ܐܶܬ݂ܺܝܬ݂ ܕ݁ܚܰܝܶܐ ܢܶܗܘܽܘܢ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܘܡܶܕ݁ܶܡ ܕ݁ܝܰܬ݁ܺܝܪ ܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܠܗܽܘܢ

John 10:10 – גַּנָבָא לָא אָתֵא אֵלָא דּנֵגנוּב וַדנֵקטוּל וַדנַובֵּד אֵנָא אֵתִית דּחַיֵא נֵהווּן להוּן ומֵדֵּם דּיַתִּיר נֵהוֵא להוּן .

John 10:10 – The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy. I have come, that they may have life, and may have that which is excellent.

John 10:11 – ܐܶܢܳܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܪܳܥܝܳܐ ܛܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܪܳܥܝܳܐ ܛܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܢܰܦ݂ܫܶܗ ܣܳܐܶܡ ܚܠܳܦ݂ ܥܳܢܶܗ

John 10:11 – אֵנָא אנָא רָעיָא טָבָא רָעיָא טָבָא נַפשֵׁה סָאֵם חלָפ עָנֵה .

John 10:11 – I am a good shepherd. A good shepherd exposeth his life for the sheep.

John 10:12 – ܐܰܓ݂ܺܝܪܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܗܘܳܐ ܪܳܥܝܳܐ ܘܠܰܘ ܕ݁ܺܝܠܶܗ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ ܥܶܪܒ݁ܶܐ ܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܚܙܳܐ ܕ݁ܺܐܒ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܳܐܬ݂ܶܐ ܫܳܒ݂ܶܩ ܥܳܢܳܐ ܘܥܳܪܶܩ ܘܳܐܬ݂ܶܐ ܕ݁ܺܐܒ݂ܳܐ ܚܳܛܶܦ݂ ܘܰܡܒ݂ܰܕ݁ܰܪ ܠܳܗ ܠܥܳܢܳܐ

John 10:12 – אַגִירָא דֵּין דּלָא הוָא רָעיָא ולַו דִּילֵה אֵנוּן עֵרבֵּא מָא דַּחזָא דּאִבָא דָּאתֵא שָׁבֵק עָנָא ועָרֵק וָאתֵא דּאִבָא חָטֵפ וַמבַדַּר לָה לעָנָא .

John 10:12 – But a hireling, who is not the shepherd, and to whom the sheep do not belong, when he seeth the wolf coming, leaveth the flock, and fleeth; and the wolf cometh, and teareth, and disperseth the flock.

John 10:13 – ܐܰܓ݂ܺܝܪܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܥܳܪܶܩ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܰܐܓ݂ܺܝܪܳܐ ܗܽܘ ܘܠܳܐ ܒ݁ܛܺܝܠ ܠܶܗ ܥܰܠ ܥܳܢܳܐ

John 10:13 – אַגִירָא דֵּין עָרֵק מֵטֻל דַּאגִירָא הוּ ולָא בּטִיל לֵה עַל עָנָא .

John 10:13 – And a hireling fleeth, because he is a hireling, and hath no concern for the flock.

John 10:14 – ܐܶܢܳܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܪܳܥܝܳܐ ܛܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܘܝܳܕ݂ܰܥ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܠܕ݂ܺܝܠܝ ܘܡܶܬ݂ܺܝܕ݂ܰܥ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܕ݁ܺܝܠܝ

John 10:14 – אֵנָא אנָא רָעיָא טָבָא ויָדַע אנָא לדִילי ומֵתִידַע אנָא מֵן דִּילי .

John 10:14 – I am a good shepherd; and I know my own [sheep], and am known by my own.

John 10:15 – ܐܰܝܟ݁ܰܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܝܳܕ݂ܰܥ ܠܺܝ ܐܳܒ݂ܝ ܘܶܐܢܳܐ ܝܳܕ݂ܰܥ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܠܳܐܒ݂ܝ ܘܢܰܦ݂ܫܝ ܣܳܐܶܡ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܚܠܳܦ݂ ܥܳܢܳܐ

John 10:15 – אַיכַּנָא דּיָדַע לִי אָבי וֵאנָא יָדַע אנָא לָאבי ונַפשׁי סָאֵם אנָא חלָפ עָנָא .

John 10:15 – As my Father knoweth me, so know I my Father; and I expose my life for the flock.

John 10:16 – ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܠܺܝ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܳܦ݂ ܥܶܪܒ݁ܶܐ ܐ݈ܚܪܳܢܶܐ ܐܰܝܠܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܗܘܰܘ ܡܶܢ ܛܝܳܪܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܘܳܐܦ݂ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܘܳܠܶܐ ܠܺܝ ܠܡܰܝܬ݁ܳܝܽܘ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ ܘܢܶܫܡܥܽܘܢ ܩܳܠܝ ܘܬ݂ܶܗܘܶܐ ܥܳܢܳܐ ܟ݁ܽܠܳܗ ܚܕ݂ܳܐ ܘܚܰܕ݂ ܪܳܥܝܳܐ

John 10:16 – אִית לִי דֵּין אָפ עֵרבֵּא אחרָנֵא אַילֵין דּלָא הוַו מֵן טיָרָא הָנָא וָאפ להוּן וָלֵא לִי למַיתָּיוּ אֵנוּן ונֵשׁמעוּן קָלי ותֵהוֵא עָנָא כֻּלָה חדָא וחַד רָעיָא .

John 10:16 – And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold:

and them also I must bring; and they will hear my voice; and the whole will be one flock, and one shepherd.

John 10:17 – ܡܶܛܽܠ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܐܳܒ݂ܝ ܪܳܚܶܡ ܠܺܝ ܕ݁ܶܐܢܳܐ ܣܳܐܶܡ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܢܰܦ݂ܫܝ ܕ݁ܬ݂ܽܘܒ݂ ܐܶܣܒ݂ܺܝܗ

John 10:17 – מֵטֻל הָנָא אָבי רָחֵם לִי דֵּאנָא סָאֵם אנָא נַפשׁי דּתוּב אֵסבִיה .

John 10:17 – For this cause my Father loveth me, that I lay down my life, to resume it again.

John 10:18 – ܠܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܫ ܫܳܩܶܠ ܠܳܗ ܡܶܢܝ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܐܶܢܳܐ ܣܳܐܶܡ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܠܳܗ ܡܶܢ ܨܶܒ݂ܝܳܢܝ ܫܰܠܺܝܛ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܕ݁ܰܐܣܺܝܡܺܝܗ ܘܫܰܠܺܝܛ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܬ݂ܽܘܒ݂ ܐܶܣܒ݂ܺܝܗ ܕ݁ܗܳܢܳܐ ܦ݁ܽܘܩܕ݁ܳܢܳܐ ܩܰܒ݁ܠܶܬ݂ ܡܶܢ ܐܳܒ݂ܝ

John 10:18 – לָא הוָא אנָשׁ שָׁקֵל לָה מֵני אֵלָא אֵנָא סָאֵם אנָא לָה מֵן צֵביָני שַׁלִיט אנָא גֵּיר דַּאסִימִיה ושַׁלִיט אנָא דּתוּב אֵסבִיה דּהָנָא פּוּקדָּנָא קַבּלֵת מֵן אָבי .

John 10:18 – There is no one that taketh it from me; but I lay it down of my own pleasure:

for I have authority to lay it down, and authority to resume it again; because I have received this command from my Father.

John 10:19 – ܘܰܗܘܳܬ݂ ܬ݁ܽܘܒ݂ ܦ݁ܳܠܓ݁ܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ ܒ݁ܰܝܢܰܝ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܡܶܠܶܐ ܗܳܠܶܝܢ

John 10:19 – וַהוָת תּוּב פָּלגּוּתָא בַּינַי יִהוּדָיֵא מֵטֻל מֵלֵא הָלֵין .

John 10:19 – And again there was a division among the Jews, on account of these sayings.

John 10:20 – ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܡܶܢܗܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܕ݂ܰܝܘܳܐ ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܠܶܗ ܘܡܶܫܢܳܐ ܫܢܳܐ ܡܳܢܳܐ ܫܳܡܥܺܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܠܶܗ

John 10:20 – וָאמרִין הוַו סַגִּיֵאא מֵנהוּן דּדַיוָא אִית לֵה ומֵשׁנָא שׁנָא מָנָא שָׁמעִין אנתּוּן לֵה .

John 10:20 – And many of them said:

He hath a demon, and is wholly beside himself; why hear ye him?

John 10:21 – ܐ݈ܚܪܳܢܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܳܡܪܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܡܶܠܶܐ ܠܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܰܝ ܕ݁ܕ݂ܰܝܘܳܢܳܐ ܠܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܝܘܳܐ ܡܶܫܟ݁ܰܚ ܥܰܝܢܶܐ ܕ݁ܣܰܡܝܳܐ ܠܰܡܦ݂ܰܬ݁ܳܚܽܘ

John 10:21 – אחרָנֵא דֵּין אָמרִין הוַו הָלֵין מֵלֵא לָא הוַי דּדַיוָנָא למָא דַּיוָא מֵשׁכַּח עַינֵא דּסַמיָא לַמפַתָּחוּ .

John 10:21 – But others said:

These are not the discourses of a demoniac:

can a demon open the eyes of one blind ?

John 10:22 – ܗܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܥܺܐܕ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܚܽܘܕ݂ܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܒ݁ܽܐܘܪܺܫܠܶܡ ܘܣܰܬ݂ܘܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ

John 10:22 – הוָא דֵּין עאִדָא דּחוּדָתָא בֻּאורִשׁלֵם וסַתוָא הוָא .

John 10:22 – And the feast of the dedication was [held] at Jerusalem, and it was winter.

John 10:23 – ܘܰܡܗܰܠܶܟ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܒ݁ܗܰܝܟ݁ܠܳܐ ܒ݁ܶܐܣܛܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܫܠܶܝܡܽܘܢ

John 10:23 – וַמהַלֵכ הוָא יֵשׁוּע בּהַיכּלָא בֵּאסטוָא דַּשׁלֵימוּן .

John 10:23 – And JESUS walked in the temple, in the porch of Solomon.

John 10:24 – ܘܚܰܕ݂ܪܽܘܗ݈ܝ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܥܕ݂ܰܡܳܐ ܠܶܐܡܰܬ݂ܝ ܢܳܣܶܒ݂ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܢܰܦ݂ܫܰܢ ܐܶܢ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܗ݈ܽܘ ܡܫܺܝܚܳܐ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܠܰܢ ܓ݁ܰܠܝܳܐܝܺܬ݂

John 10:24 – וחַדרוּהי יִהוּדָיֵא וָאמרִין לֵה עדַמָא לֵאמַתי נָסֵב אַנתּ נַפשַׁן אֵן אַנתּ הוּ משִׁיחָא אֵמַר לַן גַּליָאיִת .

John 10:24 – And the Jews gathered around him; and said to him:

how long holdest thou our mind in suspense? If thou art the Messiah, tell us plainly.

John 10:25 – ܥܢܳܐ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܐܶܡܪܶܬ݂ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܘܠܳܐ ܡܗܰܝܡܢܺܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܘܰܥܒ݂ܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܐܢܳܐ ܥܳܒ݂ܶܕ݂ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܒ݁ܰܫܡܶܗ ܕ݁ܳܐܒ݂ܝ ܗܶܢܽܘܢ ܣܳܗܕ݁ܺܝܢ ܥܠܰܝ

John 10:25 – ענָא יֵשׁוּע וֵאמַר להוּן אֵמרֵת לכוּן ולָא מהַימנִין אנתּוּן וַעבָדֵא דֵּאנָא עָבֵד אנָא בַּשׁמֵה דָּאבי הֵנוּן סָהדִּין עלַי .

John 10:25 – JESUS answered, and said to them:

I have told you, and ye did not believe. The works which I do in the name of my Father, they testify of me

John 10:26 – ܐܶܠܳܐ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܠܳܐ ܡܗܰܝܡܢܺܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܗܘܰܝܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܡܶܢ ܥܶܪܒ݁ܰܝ ܐܰܝܟ݁ܰܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܐܡܪܶܬ݂ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ

John 10:26 – אֵלָא אַנתּוּן לָא מהַימנִין אנתּוּן מֵטֻל דּלָא הוַיתּוּן מֵן עֵרבַּי אַיכַּנָא דֵּאמרֵת לכוּן .

John 10:26 – But ye do not believe, because ye are not of my sheep, as I have said to you.

John 10:27 – ܥܶܪܒ݁ܶܐ ܕ݁ܺܝܠܝ ܩܳܠܝ ܫܳܡܥܺܝܢ ܘܶܐܢܳܐ ܝܳܕ݂ܰܥ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܘܗܶܢܽܘܢ ܐܳܬ݂ܶܝܢ ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܰܪܝ

John 10:27 – עֵרבֵּא דִּילי קָלי שָׁמעִין וֵאנָא יָדַע אנָא להוּן והֵנוּן אָתֵין בָּתַרי .

John 10:27 – My sheep hear my voice:

and I know them:

and they go after me.

John 10:28 – ܘܶܐܢܳܐ ܝܳܗܶܒ݂ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܚܰܝܶܐ ܕ݁ܰܠܥܳܠܰܡ ܘܠܳܐ ܢܺܐܒ݂ܕ݁ܽܘܢ ܠܥܳܠܰܡ ܘܠܳܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܫ ܢܶܚܛܽܘܦ݂ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ ܡܶܢ ܐܺܝܕ݂ܰܝ

John 10:28 – וֵאנָא יָהֵב אנָא להוּן חַיֵא דַּלעָלַם ולָא נאִבדּוּן לעָלַם ולָא אנָשׁ נֵחטוּפ אֵנוּן מֵן אִידַי .

John 10:28 – And I give to them life eternal:

and they will never be lost:

nor will any one pluck them from my hand.

John 10:29 – ܐܳܒ݂ܝ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܕ݁ܝܰܗ݈ܒ݂ ܠܺܝ ܡܶܢ ܟ݁ܽܠ ܪܰܒ݂ ܗ݈ܽܘ ܘܠܳܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܫ ܡܶܫܟ݁ܰܚ ܕ݁ܡܶܢ ܐܺܝܕ݂ܶܗ ܕ݁ܳܐܒ݂ܝ ܢܶܚܛܽܘܦ݂

John 10:29 – אָבי גֵּיר דּיַהב לִי מֵן כֻּל רַב הוּ ולָא אנָשׁ מֵשׁכַּח דּמֵן אִידֵה דָּאבי נֵחטוּפ .

John 10:29 – For my Father, who gave [them] to me, is greater than all; nor can any pluck from my Father’s hand.

John 10:30 – ܐܶܢܳܐ ܘܳܐܒ݂ܝ ܚܰܕ݂ ܚܢܰܢ

John 10:30 – אֵנָא וָאבי חַד חנַן .

John 10:30 – I and my Father are one.

John 10:31 – ܘܰܫܩܰܠܘ ܬ݁ܽܘܒ݂ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܟ݁ܺܐܦ݂ܶܐ ܠܡܶܪܓ݁ܡܶܗ

John 10:31 – וַשׁקַלו תּוּב יִהוּדָיֵא כּאִפֵא למֵרגּמֵה .

John 10:31 – And again the Jews took up stones, to stone him.

John 10:32 – ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܥܒ݂ܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܫܰܦ݁ܺܝܪܶܐ ܡܶܢ ܠܘܳܬ݂ ܐܳܒ݂ܝ ܚܰܘܺܝܬ݂ܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܐܰܝܢܳܐ ܥܒ݂ܳܕ݂ܳܐ ܡܶܢܗܽܘܢ ܪܳܓ݂ܡܺܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܠܺܝ

John 10:32 – אָמַר להוּן יֵשׁוּע סַגִּיֵאא עבָדֵא שַׁפִּירֵא מֵן לוָת אָבי חַוִיתכוּן מֵטֻל אַינָא עבָדָא מֵנהוּן רָגמִין אנתּוּן לִי .

John 10:32 – JESUS said to them:

Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

John 10:33 – ܐܳܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܠܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܥܒ݂ܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܫܰܦ݁ܺܝܪܶܐ ܪܳܓ݂ܡܺܝܢ ܚ݈ܢܰܢ ܠܳܟ݂ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܰܡܓ݂ܰܕ݁ܶܦ݂ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂ ܐܺܝܬ݂ܰܝܟ݁ ܒ݁ܰܪ ܐ݈ܢܳܫܳܐ ܥܳܒ݂ܶܕ݂ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܢܰܦ݂ܫܳܟ݂ ܐܰܠܳܗܳܐ

John 10:33 – אָמרִין לֵה יִהוּדָיֵא לָא הוָא מֵטֻל עבָדֵא שַׁפִּירֵא רָגמִין חנַן לָכ אֵלָא מֵטֻל דַּמגַדֵּפ אַנתּ וכַד אִיתַיכּ בַּר אנָשָׁא עָבֵד אַנתּ נַפשָׁכ אַלָהָא .

John 10:33 – The Jews said to him:

It is not on account of good works, that we stone thee:

but because thou blasphemest; and, whilst thou art a man, thou makest thyself God.

John 10:34 – ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܠܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܗܳܟ݂ܰܢܳܐ ܟ݁ܬ݂ܺܝܒ݂ ܒ݁ܢܳܡܽܘܣܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܶܐܢܳܐ ܐܶܡܪܶܬ݂ ܕ݁ܰܐܠܳܗܶܐ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ

John 10:34 – אָמַר להוּן יֵשׁוּע לָא הוָא הָכַנָא כּתִיב בּנָמוּסכוּן דֵּאנָא אֵמרֵת דַּאלָהֵא אַנתּוּן .

John 10:34 – JESUS said to them:

Is it not written in your law, I have said, Ye are gods?

John 10:35 – ܐܶܢ ܠܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܐܰܠܳܗܶܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܰܠܘܳܬ݂ܗܽܘܢ ܗܘܳܬ݂ ܡܶܠܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ ܘܠܳܐ ܡܶܫܟ݁ܰܚ ܟ݁ܬ݂ܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܢܶܫܬ݁ܪܶܐ

John 10:35 – אֵן להָנוּן אֵמַר אַלָהֵא מֵטֻל דַּלוָתהוּן הוָת מֵלתָא דַּאלָהָא ולָא מֵשׁכַּח כּתָבָא דּנֵשׁתּרֵא .

John 10:35 – If he called them gods, because the word of God was with them, and the scripture cannot be nullified;

John 10:36 – ܠܰܐܝܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܐܒ݂ܳܐ ܩܰܕ݁ܫܶܗ ܘܫܰܕ݁ܪܶܗ ܠܥܳܠܡܳܐ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܐܳܡܪܺܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܰܡܓ݂ܰܕ݁ܶܦ݂ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܥܰܠ ܕ݁ܶܐܡܪܶܬ݂ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܰܒ݂ܪܶܗ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ

John 10:36 – לַאינָא דַּאבָא קַדּשֵׁה ושַׁדּרֵה לעָלמָא אַנתּוּן אָמרִין אנתּוּן דַּמגַדֵּפ אַנתּ עַל דֵּאמרֵת לכוּן דַּברֵה אנָא דַּאלָהָא .

John 10:36 – do ye say to him, whom the Father, hath sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said to you, I am son of God?

John 10:37 – ܐܶܠܳܐ ܥܳܒ݂ܶܕ݂ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܥܒ݂ܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܕ݁ܳܐܒ݂ܝ ܠܳܐ ܬ݁ܗܰܝܡܢܽܘܢܳܢܝ

John 10:37 – אֵלָא עָבֵד אנָא עבָדֵא דָּאבי לָא תּהַימנוּנָני .

John 10:37 – And if I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

John 10:38 – ܐܶܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܥܳܒ݂ܶܕ݂ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܐܳܦ݂ܶܢ ܠܺܝ ܠܳܐ ܡܗܰܝܡܢܺܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܠܰܥܒ݂ܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܗܰܝܡܶܢܘ ܕ݁ܬ݂ܶܕ݁ܥܽܘܢ ܘܰܬ݂ܗܰܝܡܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܳܐܒ݂ܝ ܒ݁ܺܝ ܘܶܐܢܳܐ ܒ݁ܳܐܒ݂ܝ

John 10:38 – אֵן דֵּין עָבֵד אנָא אָפֵן לִי לָא מהַימנִין אנתּוּן להוּן לַעבָדֵא הַימֵנו דּתֵדּעוּן וַתהַימנוּן דָּאבי בִּי וֵאנָא בָּאבי .

John 10:38 – But if I do [them], although ye believe not me, yet believe the works; that ye may know and believe, that my Father is in me, and I in my Father.

John 10:39 – ܘܰܒ݂ܥܰܘ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܬ݁ܽܘܒ݂ ܕ݁ܢܶܐܚܕ݁ܽܘܢܳܝܗ݈ܝ ܘܰܢܦ݂ܰܩ ܠܶܗ ܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂ ܐܺܝܕ݂ܰܝܗܽܘܢ

John 10:39 – וַבעַו הוַו תּוּב דּנֵאחדּוּנָיהי וַנפַק לֵה מֵן בֵּית אִידַיהוּן .

John 10:39 – And again they sought to lay hold of him; but he escaped out of their hands;

John 10:40 – ܘܶܐܙܰܠ ܠܶܗ ܠܥܶܒ݂ܪܳܐ ܕ݁ܝܽܘܪܕ݁ܢܳܢ ܠܕ݂ܽܘܟ݁ܬ݂ܳܐ ܐܰܝܟ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܺܐܝܬ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܝܽܘܚܰܢܳܢ ܡܶܢ ܩܕ݂ܺܝܡ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܡܰܥܡܶܕ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܘܰܗܘܳܐ ܬ݁ܰܡܳܢ

John 10:40 – וֵאזַל לֵה לעֵברָא דּיוּרדּנָן לדוּכּתָא אַיכָּא דּאִיתַוהי הוָא יוּחַנָן מֵן קדִים כַּד מַעמֵד הוָא וַהוָא תַּמָן .

John 10:40 – and retired to the other side of the Jordan, to the place where John at first baptized, and tarried there.

John 10:41 – ܘܶܐܬ݂ܰܘ ܐ݈ܢܳܫܳܐ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܠܘܳܬ݂ܶܗ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܕ݁ܝܽܘܚܰܢܳܢ ܐܳܦ݂ ܠܳܐ ܚܕ݂ܳܐ ܐܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܥܒ݂ܰܕ݂ ܟ݁ܽܠܡܶܕ݁ܶܡ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܶܐܡܰܪ ܝܽܘܚܰܢܳܢ ܥܰܠ ܓ݁ܰܒ݂ܪܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܫܰܪܺܝܪ ܗ݈ܽܘ

John 10:41 – וֵאתַו אנָשָׁא סַגִּיֵאא לוָתֵה וָאמרִין הוַו דּיוּחַנָן אָפ לָא חדָא אָתָא עבַד כֻּלמֵדֵּם דֵּין דֵּאמַר יוּחַנָן עַל גַּברָא הָנָא שַׁרִיר הוּ .

John 10:41 – And many persons came to him:

and they said, John indeed wrought not even one sign; but every thing that John said of his man, was true.

John 10:42 – ܘܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܗܰܝܡܶܢܘ ܒ݁ܶܗ

John 10:42 – וסַגִּיֵאא הַימֵנו בֵּה .

John 10:42 – And many believed on him.

John 11:1 – ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܚܰܕ݂ ܕ݁ܰܟ݂ܪܺܝܗ ܠܳܥܳܙܰܪ ܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂‌ܥܰܢܝܳܐ ܩܪܺܝܬ݂ܳܐ ܐܰܚܽܘܗ ܕ݁ܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܘܰܕ݂ܡܳܪܬ݁ܳܐ

John 11:1 – אִית הוָא דֵּין חַד דַּכרִיה לָעָזַר מֵן בֵּית‌עַניָא קרִיתָא אַחוּה דּמַריַם וַדמָרתָּא .

John 11:1 – And a certain man was sick, Lazarus of the town of Bethany, the brother of Mary and Martha.

John 11:2 – ܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܐܺܝܬ݂ܶܝܗ ܗܳܝ ܕ݁ܡܶܫܚܰܬ݂ ܒ݁ܒ݂ܶܣܡܳܐ ܪܶܓ݂ܠܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܘܫܰܘܝܰܬ݂ ܒ݁ܣܰܥܪܳܗ ܐܰܚܽܘܗ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܠܳܥܳܙܰܪ ܕ݁ܰܟ݂ܪܺܝܗ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ

John 11:2 – מַריַם דֵּין הָדֵא אִיתֵיה הָי דּמֵשׁחַת בּבֵסמָא רֵגלַוהי דּיֵשׁוּע ושַׁויַת בּסַערָה אַחוּה הוָא דּהָדֵא לָעָזַר דַּכרִיה הוָא .

John 11:2 – It was that Mary who anointed the feet of JESUS with perfume, and wiped [them] with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.

John 11:3 – ܘܫܰܕ݁ܰܪܶܝܢ ܬ݁ܰܪܬ݁ܰܝܗܶܝܢ ܐܰܚܘܳܬ݂ܶܗ ܠܘܳܬ݂ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܘܳܐܡܪܳܢ ܡܳܪܰܢ ܗܳܐ ܗܰܘ ܕ݁ܪܳܚܶܡ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܟ݁ܪܺܝܗ

John 11:3 – ושַׁדַּרֵין תַּרתַּיהֵין אַחוָתֵה לוָת יֵשׁוּע וָאמרָן מָרַן הָא הַו דּרָחֵם אַנתּ כּרִיה .

John 11:3 – And his two sisters sent to JESUS, and said:

Our Lord, he whom thou lovest is sick.

John 11:4 – ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܟ݁ܽܘܪܗܳܢܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܗܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܡܰܘܬ݁ܳܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܚܠܳܦ݂ ܬ݁ܶܫܒ݁ܽܘܚܬ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ ܕ݁ܢܶܫܬ݁ܰܒ݁ܰܚ ܒ݁ܪܶܗ ܕ݁ܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠܳܬ݂ܶܗ

John 11:4 – יֵשׁוּע דֵּין אֵמַר הָנָא כּוּרהָנָא לָא הוָא דּמַותָּא אֵלָא חלָפ תֵּשׁבּוּחתָּא דַּאלָהָא דּנֵשׁתַּבַּח בּרֵה דַּאלָהָא מֵטֻלָתֵה .

John 11:4 – And JESUS said:

This sickness is not that of death, but for the glory of God, that the son of God may be glorified by means of it.

John 11:5 – ܡܰܚܶܒ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܗܽܘ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܠܡܳܪܬ݁ܳܐ ܘܰܠܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܘܰܠܠܳܥܳܙܰܪ

John 11:5 – מַחֵב הוָא דֵּין הוּ יֵשׁוּע למָרתָּא וַלמַריַם וַללָעָזַר .

John 11:5 – Now JESUS loved Martha and Mary, and Lazarus.

John 11:6 – ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂ ܫܡܰܥ ܕ݁ܰܟ݂ܪܺܝܗ ܟ݁ܰܬ݁ܰܪ ܒ݁ܕ݂ܽܘܟ݁ܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܺܐܝܬ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܬ݁ܪܶܝܢ ܝܰܘܡܺܝܢ

John 11:6 – וכַד שׁמַע דַּכרִיה כַּתַּר בּדוּכּתָא דּאִיתַוהי הוָא תּרֵין יַומִין .

John 11:6 – And when he heard that he was sick, he remained in the place where he was two days.

John 11:7 – ܘܒ݂ܳܬ݂ܰܪܟ݁ܶܢ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܠܬ݂ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܬ݁ܰܘ ܢܺܐܙܰܠ ܬ݁ܽܘܒ݂ ܠܺܝܗܽܘܕ݂

John 11:7 – ובָתַרכֵּן אֵמַר לתַלמִידַוהי תַּו נאִזַל תּוּב לִיהוּד .

John 11:7 – And afterwards he said to his disciples:

Come, let us go again into Judaea.

John 11:8 – ܐܳܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܬ݁ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܪܰܒ݁ܰܢ ܗܳܫܳܐ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܒ݁ܳܥܶܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܠܡܶܪܓ݁ܡܳܟ݂ ܘܬ݂ܽܘܒ݂ ܐܳܙܶܠ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܠܬ݂ܰܡܳܢ

John 11:8 – אָמרִין לֵה תַּלמִידַוהי רַבַּן הָשָׁא יִהוּדָיֵא בָּעֵין הוַו למֵרגּמָכ ותוּב אָזֵל אַנתּ לתַמָן .

John 11:8 – His disciples say to him:

Our Rabbi, the Jews have just sought to stone thee; and goest thou again thither.

John 11:9 – ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܠܳܐ ܬ݁ܰܪܬ݁ܰܥܶܣܪܶܐ ܫܳܥܺܝܢ ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܒ݁ܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܘܶܐܢ ܐ݈ܢܳܫ ܡܗܰܠܶܟ݂ ܒ݁ܺܐܝܡܳܡܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܡܶܬ݁ܬ݁ܩܶܠ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܚܳܙܶܐ ܢܽܘܗܪܶܗ ܕ݁ܥܳܠܡܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ

John 11:9 – אָמַר להוּן יֵשׁוּע לָא תַּרתַּעֵסרֵא שָׁעִין אִית בּיַומָא וֵאן אנָשׁ מהַלֵכ בּאִימָמָא לָא מֵתּתּקֵל מֵטֻל דּחָזֵא נוּהרֵה דּעָלמָא הָנָא .

John 11:9 – JESUS said to them:

Are there not twelve hours in the day ? And if a man walk in the daytime, he stumbleth not; because he seeth the light of the world.

John 11:10 – ܐܶܢ ܐ݈ܢܳܫ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܒ݁ܠܺܠܝܳܐ ܢܗܰܠܶܟ݂ ܡܶܬ݁ܬ݁ܩܶܠ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܢܰܗܺܝܪܳܐ ܠܰܝܬ݁ ܒ݁ܶܗ

John 11:10 – אֵן אנָשׁ דֵּין בּלִליָא נהַלֵכ מֵתּתּקֵל מֵטֻל דּנַהִירָא לַיתּ בֵּה .

John 11:10 – But if one walk in the night, he stumbleth; because there is no light in him.

John 11:11 – ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܘܒ݂ܳܬ݂ܰܪܟ݁ܶܢ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܠܳܥܳܙܰܪ ܪܳܚܡܰܢ ܫܟ݂ܶܒ݂ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܐܳܙܶܠ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܐܥܺܝܪܺܝܘܗ݈ܝ

John 11:11 – הָלֵין אֵמַר יֵשׁוּע ובָתַרכֵּן אֵמַר להוּן לָעָזַר רָחמַן שׁכֵב אֵלָא אָזֵל אנָא דַּאעִירִיוהי .

John 11:11 – These things said JESUS, and afterwards he said to them:

Lazarus our friend reposeth. But I go to awake him.

John 11:12 – ܐܳܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܬ݁ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܡܳܪܰܢ ܐܶܢ ܕ݁ܡܶܟ݂ ܡܶܬ݂ܚܠܶܡ

John 11:12 – אָמרִין לֵה תַּלמִידַוהי מָרַן אֵן דּמֵכ מֵתחלֵם .

John 11:12 – His disciples say to him:

Our Lord, if he sleepeth, he is recovering.

John 11:13 – ܗܽܘ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܥܰܠ ܡܰܘܬ݁ܶܗ ܘܗܶܢܽܘܢ ܣܒ݂ܰܪܘ ܕ݁ܥܰܠ ܡܰܕ݂ܡܟ݂ܳܐ ܗܽܘ ܕ݁ܫܶܢܬ݂ܳܐ ܐܶܡܰܪ

John 11:13 – הוּ דֵּין יֵשׁוּע אֵמַר עַל מַותֵּה והֵנוּן סבַרו דּעַל מַדמכָא הוּ דּשֵׁנתָא אֵמַר .

John 11:13 – But JESUS spoke of his death; and they thought, he spoke of the sleep of repose.

John 11:14 – ܗܳܝܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܦ݁ܫܺܝܩܳܐܝܺܬ݂ ܠܳܥܳܙܰܪ ܡܺܝܬ݂ ܠܶܗ

John 11:14 – הָידֵּין אֵמַר להוּן יֵשׁוּע פּשִׁיקָאיִת לָעָזַר מִית לֵה .

John 11:14 – Then JESUS said to them explicitly; Lazarus is dead.

John 11:15 – ܘܚܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܗܘܺܝܬ݂ ܬ݁ܰܡܳܢ ܡܶܛܽܠܳܬ݂ܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܰܬ݂ܗܰܝܡܢܽܘܢ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܗܰܠܶܟ݂ܘ ܠܬ݂ܰܡܳܢ

John 11:15 – וחָדֵא אנָא דּלָא הוִית תַּמָן מֵטֻלָתכוּן דַּתהַימנוּן אֵלָא הַלֵכו לתַמָן .

John 11:15 – And I rejoice, for your sakes, that I was not there; that ye may believe. But let us go there.

John 11:16 – ܐܳܡܰܪ ܬ݁ܳܐܘܡܰܐ ܕ݁ܡܶܬ݂ܶܐܡܰܪ ܬ݁ܳܐܡܳܐ ܠܬ݂ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܶܐ ܚܰܒ݂ܪܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܢܺܐܙܰܠ ܐܳܦ݂ ܚܢܰܢ ܢܡܽܘܬ݂ ܥܰܡܶܗ

John 11:16 – אָמַר תָּאומַא דּמֵתֵאמַר תָּאמָא לתַלמִידֵא חַברַוהי נאִזַל אָפ חנַן נמוּת עַמֵה .

John 11:16 – Thomas, who is called the Twin, said to his fellow-disciples:

Let us also go [and] die with him.

John 11:17 – ܘܶܐܬ݂ܳܐ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܠܒ݂ܶܝܬ݂‌ܥܰܢܝܳܐ ܘܶܐܫܟ݁ܰܚ ܕ݁ܰܐܪܒ݁ܥܳܐ ܠܶܗ ܝܰܘܡܺܝܢ ܕ݁ܺܐܝܬ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܒ݁ܒ݂ܶܝܬ݂ ܩܒ݂ܽܘܪܳܐ

John 11:17 – וֵאתָא יֵשׁוּע לבֵית‌עַניָא וֵאשׁכַּח דַּארבּעָא לֵה יַומִין דּאִיתַוהי בּבֵית קבוּרָא .

John 11:17 – And JESUS came to Bethany, and found that he had been in the grave four days.

John 11:18 – ܐܺܝܬ݂ܶܝܗ ܗ݈ܘܳܬ݂ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂‌ܥܰܢܝܳܐ ܥܰܠ ܓ݁ܶܢ݈ܒ݂ ܐܽܘܪܺܫܠܶܡ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܦ݁ܰܪܺܝܩܳܐ ܡܶܢܳܗ ܐܰܝܟ݂ ܐܶܣܛܕ݂ܰܘܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܚܰܡܶܫܬ݁ܰܥܣܰܪ

John 11:18 – אִיתֵיה הוָת דֵּין בֵּית‌עַניָא עַל גֵּנב אוּרִשׁלֵם כַּד פַּרִיקָא מֵנָה אַיכ אֵסטדַוָתָא חַמֵשׁתַּעסַר .

John 11:18 – Now Bethany was near to Jerusalem, distant from it about fifteen furlongs.

John 11:19 – ܘܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܡܶܢ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܐܰܬ݁ܺܝܐܝܺܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܠܘܳܬ݂ ܡܳܪܬ݁ܳܐ ܘܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܕ݁ܢܶܡܠܽܘܢ ܒ݁ܠܶܒ݁ܗܶܝܢ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܐܰܚܽܘܗܶܝܢ

John 11:19 – וסַגִּיֵאא מֵן יִהוּדָיֵא אַתִּיאיִן הוַו לוָת מָרתָּא ומַריַם דּנֵמלוּן בּלֵבּהֵין מֵטֻל אַחוּהֵין .

John 11:19 – And many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.

John 11:20 – ܡܳܪܬ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܫܶܡܥܰܬ݂ ܕ݁ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܐܶܬ݂ܳܐ ܢܶܦ݂ܩܰܬ݂ ܠܽܐܘܪܥܶܗ ܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܒ݁ܒ݂ܰܝܬ݁ܳܐ ܝܳܬ݂ܒ݁ܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܬ݂

John 11:20 – מָרתָּא דֵּין כַּד שֵׁמעַת דּיֵשׁוּע אֵתָא נֵפקַת לֻאורעֵה מַריַם דֵּין בּבַיתָּא יָתבָּא הוָת .

John 11:20 – And Martha, when she heard that JESUS was coming, went out to meet him; but Mary was sitting in the house.

John 11:21 – ܘܶܐܡܪܰܬ݂ ܡܳܪܬ݁ܳܐ ܠܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܡܳܪܝ ܐܶܠܽܘ ܬ݁ܢܳܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܝܬ݁ ܠܳܐ ܡܳܐܶܬ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܐܳܚܝ

John 11:21 – וֵאמרַת מָרתָּא ליֵשׁוּע מָרי אֵלוּ תּנָן הוַיתּ לָא מָאֵת הוָא אָחי .

John 11:21 – And Martha said to JESUS:

My Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.

John 11:22 – ܐܶܠܳܐ ܐܳܦ݂ ܗܳܫܳܐ ܝܳܕ݂ܥܳܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܟ݂ܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܬ݂ܶܫܰܐܠ ܠܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ ܝܳܗܶܒ݂ ܠܳܟ݂

John 11:22 – אֵלָא אָפ הָשָׁא יָדעָא אנָא דַּכמָא דּתֵשַׁאל לַאלָהָא יָהֵב לָכ .

John 11:22 – But even now, I know, that whatever thou wilt ask of God, he will give it thee.

John 11:23 – ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܳܗ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܩܳܐܶܡ ܐܰܚܽܘܟ݂ܝ

John 11:23 – אָמַר לָה יֵשׁוּע קָאֵם אַחוּכי .

John 11:23 – JESUS said to her:

Thy brother will rise.

John 11:24 – ܐܳܡܪܳܐ ܠܶܗ ܡܳܪܬ݁ܳܐ ܝܳܕ݂ܥܳܐܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܩܳܐܶܡ ܒ݁ܢܽܘܚܳܡܳܐ ܒ݁ܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܐ݈ܚܪܳܝܳܐ

John 11:24 – אָמרָא לֵה מָרתָּא יָדעָאנָא דּקָאֵם בּנוּחָמָא בּיַומָא אחרָיָא .

John 11:24 – Martha said to him:

I know, that he will rise in the consolation, at the last day.

John 11:25 – ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܳܗ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܐܶܢܳܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܢܽܘܚܳܡܳܐ ܘܚܰܝܶܐ ܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܰܡܗܰܝܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܺܝ ܐܳܦ݂ܶܢ ܢܡܽܘܬ݂ ܢܺܚܶܐ

John 11:25 – אָמַר לָה יֵשׁוּע אֵנָא אנָא נוּחָמָא וחַיֵא מַן דַּמהַימֵן בִּי אָפֵן נמוּת נִחֵא .

John 11:25 – JESUS said to her:

I am the consolation, and life. And he that believeth in me, though he should die, will live.

John 11:26 – ܘܟ݂ܽܠ ܕ݁ܚܰܝ ܘܰܡܗܰܝܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܺܝ ܠܥܳܠܰܡ ܠܳܐ ܢܡܽܘܬ݂ ܡܗܰܝܡܢܰܬ݁ܝ ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ

John 11:26 – וכֻל דּחַי וַמהַימֵן בִּי לעָלַם לָא נמוּת מהַימנַתּי הָדֵא .

John 11:26 – And every one that liveth, and believeth in me, will not die for ever. Believest thou this?

John 11:27 – ܐܳܡܪܳܐ ܠܶܗ ܐܺܝܢ ܡܳܪܝ ܐܶܢܳܐ ܡܗܰܝܡܢܳܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܐܢ݈ܬ݁ ܗ݈ܽܘ ܡܫܺܝܚܳܐ ܒ݁ܪܶܗ ܕ݁ܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ ܕ݁ܳܐܬ݂ܶܐ ܠܥܳܠܡܳܐ

John 11:27 – אָמרָא לֵה אִין מָרי אֵנָא מהַימנָא אנָא דַּאנתּ הוּ משִׁיחָא בּרֵה דַּאלָהָא דָּאתֵא לעָלמָא .

John 11:27 – She said to him:

Yes, my Lord; I believe, that thou art the Messiah son of God, that cometh into the world.

John 11:28 – ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂ ܐܶܡܪܰܬ݂ ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܐܶܙܰܠ݈ܬ݂ ܩܪܳܬ݂ ܠܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܚܳܬ݂ܳܗ ܟ݁ܰܣܝܳܐܝܺܬ݂ ܘܳܐܡܪܳܐ ܠܳܗ ܪܰܒ݁ܰܢ ܐܶܬ݂ܳܐ ܘܩܳܪܶܐ ܠܶܟ݂ܝ

John 11:28 – וכַד אֵמרַת הָלֵין אֵזַלת קרָת למַריַם חָתָה כַּסיָאיִת וָאמרָא לָה רַבַּן אֵתָא וקָרֵא לֵכי .

John 11:28 – And when she had thus said, she went and called her sister Mary, secretly, and said to her:

Our Rabbi hath come, and calleth for thee.

John 11:29 – ܘܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܫܶܡܥܰܬ݂ ܩܳܡܰܬ݂ ܥܓ݂ܰܠ ܘܳܐܬ݂ܝܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܬ݂ ܠܘܳܬ݂ܶܗ

John 11:29 – ומַריַם כַּד שֵׁמעַת קָמַת עגַל וָאתיָא הוָת לוָתֵה .

John 11:29 – And Mary, when she heard [it], rose up quickly, and went to meet him.

John 11:30 – ܗܽܘ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܠܳܐ ܥܕ݂ܰܟ݁ܺܝܠ ܐܶܬ݂ܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܰܩܪܺܝܬ݂ܳܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܒ݁ܳܗ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܒ݁ܗܳܝ ܕ݁ܽܘܟ݁ܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܐܪܰܥܬ݂ܶܗ ܡܳܪܬ݁ܳܐ

John 11:30 – הוּ דֵּין יֵשׁוּע לָא עדַכִּיל אֵתָא הוָא לַקרִיתָא אֵלָא בָּה הוָא בּהָי דּוּכּתָא דֵּארַעתֵה מָרתָּא .

John 11:30 – And JESUS had not yet entered the village, but was in the place where Martha met him.

John 11:31 – ܐܳܦ݂ ܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܕ݁ܺܐܝܬ݂ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܥܰܡܳܗ ܒ݁ܒ݂ܰܝܬ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܡܒ݂ܰܝܐܝܺܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܠܳܗ ܕ݁ܰܚܙܰܘ ܠܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܕ݁ܰܥܓ݂ܰܠ ܩܳܡܰܬ݂ ܢܶܦ݂ܩܰܬ݂ ܐܶܙܰܠܘ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܪܳܗ ܣܒ݂ܰܪܘ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܕ݁ܰܠܩܰܒ݂ܪܳܐ ܐܳܙܳܠ݈ܐ ܠܡܶܒ݂ܟ݁ܳܐ

John 11:31 – אָפ הָנוּן דֵּין יִהוּדָיֵא דּאִית הוַו עַמָה בּבַיתָּא דַּמבַיאיִן הוַו לָה דַּחזַו למַריַם דַּעגַל קָמַת נֵפקַת אֵזַלו להוּן בָּתרָה סבַרו גֵּיר דַּלקַברָא אָזָלא למֵבכָּא .

John 11:31 – Those Jews also, who were with her in the house and consoled her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed after her; for they supposed, she was going to the grave to weep.

John 11:32 – ܗܺܝ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܐܶܬ݂ܳܬ݂ ܐܰܝܟ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܺܐܝܬ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܘܰܚܙܳܬ݂ܶܗ ܢܶܦ݂ܠܰܬ݂ ܥܰܠ ܪܶܓ݂ܠܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܘܳܐܡܪܳܐ ܠܶܗ ܐܶܠܽܘ ܬ݁ܢܳܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܝܬ݁ ܡܳܪܝ ܠܳܐ ܡܳܐܶܬ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܐܳܚܝ

John 11:32 – הִי דֵּין מַריַם כַּד אֵתָת אַיכָּא דּאִיתַוהי הוָא יֵשׁוּע וַחזָתֵה נֵפלַת עַל רֵגלַוהי וָאמרָא לֵה אֵלוּ תּנָן הוַיתּ מָרי לָא מָאֵת הוָא אָחי .

John 11:32 – And Mary, when she came where JESUS was and saw him, fell at his feet, and said to him:

If thou hadst been here, my Lord, my brother had not died.

John 11:33 – ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܚܙܳܗ ܕ݁ܒ݂ܳܟ݂ܝܳܐ ܘܠܺܝܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܶܐܬ݂ܰܘ ܥܰܡܳܗ ܕ݁ܒ݂ܳܟ݂ܶܝܢ ܐܶܬ݂ܥܰܙܰܙ ܒ݁ܪܽܘܚܶܗ ܘܰܐܙܺܝܥ ܢܰܦ݂ܫܶܗ

John 11:33 – יֵשׁוּע דֵּין כַּד חזָה דּבָכיָא ולִיהוּדָיֵא הָנוּן דֵּאתַו עַמָה דּבָכֵין אֵתעַזַז בּרוּחֵה וַאזִיע נַפשֵׁה .

John 11:33 – And when JESUS saw her weeping, and the Jews weeping who came with her, he was moved in spirit, and was agitated.

John 11:34 – ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܐܰܝܟ݁ܳܐ ܣܳܡܬ݁ܽܘܢܳܝܗ݈ܝ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܡܳܪܰܢ ܬ݁ܳܐ ܚܙܺܝ

John 11:34 – וֵאמַר אַיכָּא סָמתּוּנָיהי וָאמרִין לֵה מָרַן תָּא חזִי .

John 11:34 – And he said:

Where have ye laid him ?

They say to him:

Our Lord, come, and see.

John 11:35 – ܘܳܐܬ݂ܝܳܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܝ ܕ݁ܶܡܥܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܝܶܫܽܘܥ

John 11:35 – וָאתיָן הוַי דֵּמעַוהי דּיֵשׁוּע .

John 11:35 – And the tears of JESUS came.

John 11:36 – ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܚܙܰܘ ܟ݁ܡܳܐ ܪܳܚܶܡ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܶܗ

John 11:36 – וָאמרִין הוַו יִהוּדָיֵא חזַו כּמָא רָחֵם הוָא לֵה .

John 11:36 – And the Jews said:

See, how much he loved him.

John 11:37 – ܐ݈ܢܳܫܺܝܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܡܶܢܗܽܘܢ ܐܶܡܰܪܘ ܠܳܐ ܡܶܫܟ݁ܰܚ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܦ݂ܰܬ݁ܰܚ ܥܰܝܢܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܗܰܘ ܣܰܡܝܳܐ ܢܶܥܒ݁ܶܕ݂ ܕ݁ܳܐܦ݂ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܢܡܽܘܬ݂

John 11:37 – אנָשִׁין דֵּין מֵנהוּן אֵמַרו לָא מֵשׁכַּח הוָא הָנָא דּפַתַּח עַינַוהי דּהַו סַמיָא נֵעבֵּד דָּאפ הָנָא לָא נמוּת .

John 11:37 – And some of them said:

Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man, have caused that this also should not have died ?

John 11:38 – ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܡܶܬ݂ܥܰܙܰܙ ܒ݁ܰܝܢܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܘܠܶܗ ܐܶܬ݂ܳܐ ܠܒ݂ܶܝܬ݂ ܩܒ݂ܽܘܪܳܐ ܘܗܽܘ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂ ܩܒ݂ܽܘܪܳܐ ܐܺܝܬ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܡܥܰܪܬ݂ܳܐ ܘܟ݂ܺܐܦ݂ܳܐ ܣܺܝܡܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܬ݂ ܥܰܠ ܬ݁ܰܪܥܶܗ

John 11:38 – יֵשׁוּע דֵּין כַּד מֵתעַזַז בַּינַוהי ולֵה אֵתָא לבֵית קבוּרָא והוּ בֵּית קבוּרָא אִיתַוהי הוָא מעַרתָא וכאִפָא סִימָא הוָת עַל תַּרעֵה .

John 11:38 – And JESUS, still agitated within, came to the grave. Now the grave was a cave, and a stone was laid upon its entrance.

John 11:39 – ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܫܩܽܘܠܘ ܟ݁ܺܐܦ݂ܳܐ ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܐܳܡܪܳܐ ܠܶܗ ܡܳܪܬ݁ܳܐ ܚܳܬ݂ܶܗ ܕ݁ܗܰܘ ܡܺܝܬ݂ܳܐ ܡܳܪܝ ܡܶܢ ܟ݁ܰܕ݁ܽܘ ܣܪܺܝ ܠܶܗ ܐܰܪܒ݁ܥܳܐ ܠܶܗ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܝܰܘܡܺܝܢ

John 11:39 – וֵאמַר יֵשׁוּע שׁקוּלו כּאִפָא הָדֵא אָמרָא לֵה מָרתָּא חָתֵה דּהַו מִיתָא מָרי מֵן כַּדּוּ סרִי לֵה אַרבּעָא לֵה גֵּיר יַומִין .

John 11:39 – And JESUS said:

Take away this stone.

Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him:

My Lord, by this time he is putrid; for four days have elapsed.

John 11:40 – ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܳܗ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܠܳܐ ܐܶܡܪܶܬ݂ ܠܶܟ݂ܝ ܕ݁ܶܐܢ ܬ݁ܗܰܝܡܢܺܝܢ ܬ݁ܶܚܙܶܝܢ ܫܽܘܒ݂ܚܶܗ ܕ݁ܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ

John 11:40 – אָמַר לָה יֵשׁוּע לָא אֵמרֵת לֵכי דֵּאן תּהַימנִין תֵּחזֵין שׁוּבחֵה דַּאלָהָא .

John 11:40 – JESUS said to her:

Did I not tell thee, that if thou wouldst believe, thou shouldst see the glory of God ?

John 11:41 – ܘܰܫܩܰܠܘ ܟ݁ܺܐܦ݂ܳܐ ܗܳܝ ܘܗܽܘ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܐܰܪܺܝܡ ܥܰܝܢܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܠܥܶܠ ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܐܰܒ݂ܳܐ ܡܰܘܕ݁ܶܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܠܳܟ݂ ܕ݁ܰܫܡܰܥܬ݁ܳܢܝ

John 11:41 – וַשׁקַלו כּאִפָא הָי והוּ יֵשׁוּע אַרִים עַינַוהי לעֵל וֵאמַר אַבָא מַודֵּא אנָא לָכ דַּשׁמַעתָּני .

John 11:41 – And they took away the stone. And JESUS raised his eyes on high, and said:

Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

John 11:42 – ܘܶܐܢܳܐ ܝܳܕ݂ܰܥ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܒ݂ܟ݂ܽܠܙܒ݂ܰܢ ܫܳܡܰܥ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܠܺܝ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܟ݁ܶܢܫܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܩܳܐܶܡ ܐܳܡܰܪ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܰܢܗܰܝܡܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܰܐܢ݈ܬ݁ ܫܰܕ݁ܰܪܬ݁ܳܢܝ

John 11:42 – וֵאנָא יָדַע אנָא דַּבכֻלזבַן שָׁמַע אַנתּ לִי אֵלָא מֵטֻל כֵּנשָׁא הָנָא דּקָאֵם אָמַר אנָא הָלֵין דַּנהַימנוּן דַּאנתּ שַׁדַּרתָּני .

John 11:42 – And I know that thou hearest me always; but on account of this multitude that standeth here, I say these things; that they may believe, that thou hast sent me.

John 11:43 – ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܩܥܳܐ ܒ݁ܩܳܠܳܐ ܪܳܡܳܐ ܠܳܥܳܙܰܪ ܬ݁ܳܐ ܠܒ݂ܰܪ

John 11:43 – וכַד אֵמַר הָלֵין קעָא בּקָלָא רָמָא לָעָזַר תָּא לבַר .

John 11:43 – And when he had thus spoken, he called with a loud voice:

Lazarus, come forth!

John 11:44 – ܘܰܢܦ݂ܰܩ ܗܰܘ ܡܺܝܬ݂ܳܐ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܐܰܣܺܝܪܳܢ ܐܺܝܕ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܘܪܶܓ݂ܠܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܒ݁ܦ݂ܶܣܩܝܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܘܰܐܦ݁ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܐܰܣܺܝܪܳܢ ܒ݁ܣܽܘܕ݂ܳܪܳܐ ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܫܪܰܐܘܽܗ݈ܝ ܘܰܫܒ݂ܽܘܩܘ ܐܳܙܶܠ

John 11:44 – וַנפַק הַו מִיתָא כַּד אַסִירָן אִידַוהי ורֵגלַוהי בּפֵסקיָתָא וַאפַּוהי אַסִירָן בּסוּדָרָא אָמַר להוּן יֵשׁוּע שׁרַאוּהי וַשׁבוּקו אָזֵל .

John 11:44 – And the dead man came forth, with his hands and his feet swathed with bandages, and his face with a napkin. JESUS said to them:

Loose him, and let him go.

John 11:45 – ܘܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܡܶܢ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܐܬ݂ܰܘ ܠܘܳܬ݂ ܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܚܙܰܘ ܡܶܕ݁ܶܡ ܕ݁ܰܥܒ݂ܰܕ݂ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܗܰܝܡܶܢܘ ܒ݁ܶܗ

John 11:45 – וסַגִּיֵאא מֵן יִהוּדָיֵא דֵּאתַו לוָת מַריַם כַּד חזַו מֵדֵּם דַּעבַד יֵשׁוּע הַימֵנו בֵּה .

John 11:45 – And many of the Jews who had come to Mary, when they saw what JESUS did, believed on him.

John 11:46 – ܘܐ݈ܢܳܫܺܝܢ ܡܶܢܗܽܘܢ ܐܶܙܰܠܘ ܠܘܳܬ݂ ܦ݁ܪܺܝܫܶܐ ܘܶܐܡܰܪܘ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܡܶܕ݁ܶܡ ܕ݁ܰܥܒ݂ܰܕ݂ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ

John 11:46 – ואנָשִׁין מֵנהוּן אֵזַלו לוָת פּרִישֵׁא וֵאמַרו להוּן מֵדֵּם דַּעבַד יֵשׁוּע .

John 11:46 – But some of them went to the Pharisees, and told them all that JESUS had done.

John 11:47 – ܘܶܐܬ݂ܟ݁ܰܢܰܫܘ ܪܰܒ݁ܰܝ ܟ݁ܳܗܢܶܐ ܘܰܦ݂ܪܺܝܫܶܐ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܡܳܢܳܐ ܢܶܥܒ݁ܶܕ݂ ܕ݁ܗܳܢܳܐ ܓ݁ܰܒ݂ܪܳܐ ܐܳܬ݂ܘܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܳܐܬ݂ܳܐ ܥܳܒ݂ܶܕ݂

John 11:47 – וֵאתכַּנַשׁו רַבַּי כָּהנֵא וַפרִישֵׁא וָאמרִין הוַו מָנָא נֵעבֵּד דּהָנָא גַּברָא אָתוָתָא סַגִּיָאתָא עָבֵד .

John 11:47 – And the chief priests and Pharisees assembled together, and said:

What shall we do? For this man worketh many signs.

John 11:48 – ܘܶܐܢ ܫܳܒ݂ܩܺܝܢ ܚ݈ܢܰܢ ܠܶܗ ܗܳܟ݂ܰܢܳܐ ܟ݁ܽܠܗܽܘܢ ܐ݈ܢܳܫܳܐ ܡܗܰܝܡܢܺܝܢ ܒ݁ܶܗ ܘܳܐܬ݂ܶܝܢ ܪܽܗ݈ܘܡܳܝܶܐ ܫܳܩܠܺܝܢ ܐܰܬ݂ܪܰܢ ܘܥܰܡܰܢ

John 11:48 – וֵאן שָׁבקִין חנַן לֵה הָכַנָא כֻּלהוּן אנָשָׁא מהַימנִין בֵּה וָאתֵין רֻהומָיֵא שָׁקלִין אַתרַן ועַמַן .

John 11:48 – And if we thus let him alone, all the people will believe in him; and the Romans will come, and will take away our place and our nation.

John 11:49 – ܚܰܕ݂ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܡܶܢܗܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܰܫܡܶܗ ܩܰܝܳܦ݂ܳܐ ܪܰܒ݁ ܟ݁ܳܗܢܶܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܗܳܝ ܫܰܢ݈ܬ݁ܳܐ ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܠܳܐ ܝܳܕ݂ܥܺܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܡܶܕ݁ܶܡ

John 11:49 – חַד דֵּין מֵנהוּן דַּשׁמֵה קַיָפָא רַבּ כָּהנֵא הוָא דּהָי שַׁנתָּא וֵאמַר להוּן אַנתּוּן לָא יָדעִין אנתּוּן מֵדֵּם .

John 11:49 – But, one of them, named Caiaphas, was the high priest of that year; and he said to them:

Ye know not any thing.

John 11:50 – ܘܠܳܐ ܡܶܬ݂ܚܰܫܒ݂ܺܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܦ݂ܰܩܳܚ ܠܰܢ ܕ݁ܚܰܕ݂ ܓ݁ܰܒ݂ܪܳܐ ܢܡܽܘܬ݂ ܚܠܳܦ݂ ܥܰܡܳܐ ܘܠܳܐ ܟ݁ܽܠܶܗ ܥܰܡܳܐ ܢܺܐܒ݂ܰܕ݂

John 11:50 – ולָא מֵתחַשׁבִין אנתּוּן דּפַקָח לַן דּחַד גַּברָא נמוּת חלָפ עַמָא ולָא כֻּלֵה עַמָא נאִבַד .

John 11:50 – Neither do ye consider, that it is expedient for us, that one man die for the people, and not that this whole people perish.

John 11:51 – ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܡܶܢ ܨܒ݂ܽܘܬ݂ ܢܰܦ݂ܫܶܗ ܠܳܐ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܪܰܒ݁ ܟ݁ܳܗܢܶܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܗܳܝ ܫܰܢ݈ܬ݁ܳܐ ܐܶܬ݂ܢܰܒ݁ܺܝ ܕ݁ܰܥܬ݂ܺܝܕ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܕ݁ܰܢܡܽܘܬ݂ ܚܠܳܦ݂ ܥܰܡܳܐ

John 11:51 – הָדֵא דֵּין מֵן צבוּת נַפשֵׁה לָא אֵמַר אֵלָא מֵטֻל דּרַבּ כָּהנֵא הוָא דּהָי שַׁנתָּא אֵתנַבִּי דַּעתִיד הוָא יֵשׁוּע דַּנמוּת חלָפ עַמָא .

John 11:51 – This he said, however, not from the promptings of his own mind; but being the high priest of that year, he prophesied, that JESUS was about to die for the people:

John 11:52 – ܘܠܳܐ ܒ݁ܰܠܚܽܘܕ݂ ܚܠܳܦ݂ ܥܰܡܳܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܕ݁ܳܐܦ݂ ܒ݁ܢܰܝܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܡܒ݂ܰܕ݁ܪܺܝܢ ܢܟ݂ܰܢܶܫ ܠܰܚܕ݂ܳܐ

John 11:52 – ולָא בַּלחוּד חלָפ עַמָא אֵלָא דָּאפ בּנַיָא דַּאלָהָא דַּמבַדּרִין נכַנֵשׁ לַחדָא .

John 11:52 – and not only for the people, but also that he might collect together the sons of God that were dispersed.

John 11:53 – ܘܡܶܢ ܗܰܘ ܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܐܶܬ݂ܚܰܫܰܒ݂ܘ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܕ݁ܢܶܩܛܠܽܘܢܳܝܗ݈ܝ

John 11:53 – ומֵן הַו יַומָא אֵתחַשַׁבו הוַו דּנֵקטלוּנָיהי .

John 11:53 – And from that day, they plotted to kill him.

John 11:54 – ܗܽܘ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܠܳܐ ܡܗܰܠܶܟ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܓ݁ܰܠܝܳܐܝܺܬ݂ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܐܶܙܰܠ ܠܶܗ ܡܶܢ ܬ݁ܰܡܳܢ ܠܰܐܬ݂ܪܳܐ ܕ݁ܩܰܪܺܝܒ݂ ܠܚܽܘܪܒ݁ܳܐ ܠܟ݂ܰܪܟ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܡܶܬ݂ܩܪܶܐ ܐܰܦ݂ܪܶܝܡ ܘܬ݂ܰܡܳܢ ܡܶܬ݂ܗܰܦ݁ܰܟ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܥܰܡ ܬ݁ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ

John 11:54 – הוּ דֵּין יֵשׁוּע לָא מהַלֵכ הוָא גַּליָאיִת בֵּית יִהוּדָיֵא אֵלָא אֵזַל לֵה מֵן תַּמָן לַאתרָא דּקַרִיב לחוּרבָּא לכַרכָא דּמֵתקרֵא אַפרֵים ותַמָן מֵתהַפַּכ הוָא עַם תַּלמִידַוהי .

John 11:54 – And JESUS did not walk openly among the Jews; but retired from them to a place near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim; and there he abode with his disciples.

John 11:55 – ܩܰܪܺܝܒ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܦ݁ܶܨܚܳܐ ܕ݁ܺܝܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܘܰܣܠܶܩܘ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܡܶܢ ܩܽܘܪܝܳܐ ܠܽܐܘܪܺܫܠܶܡ ܩܕ݂ܳܡ ܥܰܕ݂ܥܺܕ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܢܕ݂ܰܟ݁ܽܘܢ ܢܰܦ݂ܫܗܽܘܢ

John 11:55 – קַרִיב הוָא דֵּין פֵּצחָא דִּיהוּדָיֵא וַסלֵקו סַגִּיֵאא מֵן קוּריָא לֻאורִשׁלֵם קדָם עַדעִדָא דַּנדַכּוּן נַפשׁהוּן .

John 11:55 – And the passover of the Jews drew near:

and many went up from the villages to Jerusalem, before the feast, that they might purify themselves.

John 11:56 – ܘܒ݂ܳܥܶܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܠܶܗ ܠܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܚܰܕ݂ ܠܚܰܕ݂ ܒ݁ܗܰܝܟ݁ܠܳܐ ܡܳܢܳܐ ܣܳܒ݂ܪܺܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܐܳܬ݂ܶܐ ܠܥܰܕ݂ܥܺܕ݂ܳܐ

John 11:56 – ובָעֵין הוַו לֵה ליֵשׁוּע וָאמרִין הוַו חַד לחַד בּהַיכּלָא מָנָא סָברִין אנתּוּן דּלָא אָתֵא לעַדעִדָא .

John 11:56 – And they sought for JESUS; and they said one to another, in the temple:

What think ye ? that he will not come to the feast?

John 11:57 – ܪܰܒ݁ܰܝ ܟ݁ܳܗܢܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܘܰܦ݂ܪܺܝܫܶܐ ܦ݁ܩܰܕ݂ܘ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܕ݁ܶܐܢ ܐ݈ܢܳܫ ܢܶܕ݁ܰܥ ܐܰܝܟ݁ܰܘ ܢܒ݂ܰܕ݁ܶܩ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܐܰܝܟ݂ ܕ݁ܢܶܐܚܕ݁ܽܘܢܳܝܗ݈ܝ

John 11:57 – רַבַּי כָּהנֵא דֵּין וַפרִישֵׁא פּקַדו הוַו דֵּאן אנָשׁ נֵדַּע אַיכַּו נבַדֵּק להוּן אַיכ דּנֵאחדּוּנָיהי .

John 11:57 – And the chief priests and the Pharisees had commanded that if any one knew where he was, he should make it known to them, that they might take him.

John 12:1 – ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܩܕ݂ܳܡ ܫܬ݁ܳܐ ܝܰܘܡܺܝܢ ܕ݁ܦ݂ܶܨܚܳܐ ܐܶܬ݂ܳܐ ܠܒ݂ܶܝܬ݂‌ܥܰܢܝܳܐ ܐܰܝܟ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܺܐܝܬ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܳܥܳܙܰܪ ܗܰܘ ܕ݁ܰܐܩܺܝܡ ܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂ ܡܺܝܬ݂ܶܐ ܗܽܘ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ

John 12:1 – יֵשׁוּע דֵּין קדָם שׁתָּא יַומִין דּפֵצחָא אֵתָא לבֵית‌עַניָא אַיכָּא דּאִיתַוהי הוָא לָעָזַר הַו דַּאקִים מֵן בֵּית מִיתֵא הוּ יֵשׁוּע .

John 12:1 – And six days before the passover, JESUS came to Bethany, where was that Lazarus whom JESUS raised from the dead.

John 12:2 – ܘܰܥܒ݂ܰܕ݂ܘ ܠܶܗ ܬ݁ܰܡܳܢ ܚܫܳܡܺܝܬ݂ܳܐ ܘܡܳܪܬ݁ܳܐ ܡܫܰܡܫܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܬ݂ ܘܠܳܥܳܙܰܪ ܚܰܕ݂ ܡܶܢ ܣܡܺܝܟ݂ܶܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܥܰܡܶܗ

John 12:2 – וַעבַדו לֵה תַּמָן חשָׁמִיתָא ומָרתָּא משַׁמשָׁא הוָת ולָעָזַר חַד מֵן סמִיכֵא הוָא דּעַמֵה .

John 12:2 – And they made a supper for him there:

and Martha served, and Lazarus was one of the guests with him.

John 12:3 – ܡܰܪܝܰܡ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܫܶܩܠܰܬ݂ ܫܳܛܺܝܦ݂ܬ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܒ݂ܶܣܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܢܰܪܕ݁ܺܝܢ ܪܺܫܳܝܳܐ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝ ܕ݁ܡܰܝܳܐ ܘܡܶܫܚܰܬ݂ ܪܶܓ݂ܠܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܘܫܰܘܝܰܬ݂ ܒ݁ܣܰܥܪܳܗ ܪܶܓ݂ܠܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܘܶܐܬ݂ܡܠܺܝ ܒ݁ܰܝܬ݁ܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܪܺܝܚܶܗ ܕ݁ܒ݂ܶܣܡܳܐ

John 12:3 – מַריַם דֵּין שֵׁקלַת שָׁטִיפתָּא דּבֵסמָא דּנַרדִּין רִשָׁיָא סַגִּי דּמַיָא ומֵשׁחַת רֵגלַוהי דּיֵשׁוּע ושַׁויַת בּסַערָה רֵגלַוהי וֵאתמלִי בַּיתָּא מֵן רִיחֵה דּבֵסמָא .

John 12:3 – And Mary took an alabaster box of perfume of choice spikenard, of great price; and anointed the feet of JESUS; and she wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the odor of the perfume.

John 12:4 – ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܐ ܣܟ݂ܰܪܝܽܘܛܳܐ ܚܰܕ݂ ܡܶܢ ܬ݁ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܗܰܘ ܕ݁ܰܥܬ݂ܺܝܕ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܢܰܫܠܡܺܝܘܗ݈ܝ

John 12:4 – וֵאמַר יִהוּדָא סכַריוּטָא חַד מֵן תַּלמִידַוהי הַו דַּעתִיד הוָא דּנַשׁלמִיוהי .

John 12:4 – Then said Judas Iscariot, one of the disciples, he that was about to betray him:

John 12:5 – ܠܡܳܢܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܐܶܙܕ݁ܰܒ݁ܰܢ ܡܶܫܚܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܒ݁ܰܬ݂ܠܳܬ݂ ܡܳܐܐ ܕ݁ܺܝܢܳܪܺܝܢ ܘܶܐܬ݂ܺܝܗܶܒ݂ ܠܡܶܣܟ݁ܺܢܶܐ

John 12:5 – למָנָא לָא אֵזדַּבַּן מֵשׁחָא הָנָא בַּתלָת מָאא דִּינָרִין וֵאתִיהֵב למֵסכִּנֵא .

John 12:5 – Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred denarii, and given to the poor ?

John 12:6 – ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܠܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܥܰܠ ܡܶܣܟ݁ܺܢܶܐ ܒ݁ܛܺܝܠ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܶܗ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܓ݂ܰܢܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܘܰܓ݂ܠܽܘܣܩܡܳܐ ܠܘܳܬ݂ܶܗ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܘܡܶܕ݁ܶܡ ܕ݁ܢܳܦ݂ܶܠ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܒ݁ܶܗ ܗܽܘ ܛܥܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ

John 12:6 – הָדֵא דֵּין אֵמַר לָא הוָא מֵטֻל דּעַל מֵסכִּנֵא בּטִיל הוָא לֵה אֵלָא מֵטֻל דּגַנָבָא הוָא וַגלוּסקמָא לוָתֵה הוָא ומֵדֵּם דּנָפֵל הוָא בֵּה הוּ טעִין הוָא .

John 12:6 – And this he said, not be cause he cared for the poor, but because he was thief, and held the purse, and carried what was put in it.

John 12:7 – ܐܶܡܰܪ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܫܒ݂ܽܘܩܶܝܗ ܠܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܩܒ݂ܽܘܪܝ ܢܛܰܪܬ݂ܶܗ

John 12:7 – אֵמַר דֵּין יֵשׁוּע שׁבוּקֵיה ליַומָא דַּקבוּרי נטַרתֵה .

John 12:7 – But JESUS said:

Let her alone; she hath kept it for the day of my burial.

John 12:8 – ܒ݁ܟ݂ܽܠܙܒ݂ܰܢ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܡܶܣܟ݁ܺܢܶܐ ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܥܰܡܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܠܺܝ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܠܳܐ ܒ݁ܟ݂ܽܠܙܒ݂ܰܢ ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ

John 12:8 – בּכֻלזבַן גֵּיר מֵסכִּנֵא אִית לכוּן עַמכוּן לִי דֵּין לָא בּכֻלזבַן אִית לכוּן .

John 12:8 – For the poor are always with you, but I am not with you always.

John 12:9 – ܘܰܫܡܰܥܘ ܟ݁ܶܢܫܶܐ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܡܶܢ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܕ݁ܬ݂ܰܡܳܢ ܗ݈ܽܘ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܘܶܐܬ݂ܰܘ ܠܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܒ݁ܰܠܚܽܘܕ݂ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܐܳܦ݂ ܕ݁ܢܶܚܙܽܘܢ ܠܠܳܥܳܙܰܪ ܗܰܘ ܕ݁ܰܐܩܺܝܡ ܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂ ܡܺܝܬ݂ܶܐ

John 12:9 – וַשׁמַעו כֵּנשֵׁא סַגִּיֵאא מֵן יִהוּדָיֵא דּתַמָן הוּ יֵשׁוּע וֵאתַו לָא מֵטֻל יֵשׁוּע בַּלחוּד אֵלָא אָפ דּנֵחזוּן ללָעָזַר הַו דַּאקִים מֵן בֵּית מִיתֵא .

John 12:9 – And great multitudes of the Jews heard that he was there:

and they came, not only on account of JESUS, but also that they might see Lazarus, whom he raised from the dead.

John 12:10 – ܘܶܐܬ݂ܪܰܥܺܝܘ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܪܰܒ݁ܰܝ ܟ݁ܳܗܢܶܐ ܕ݁ܳܐܦ݂ ܠܠܳܥܳܙܰܪ ܢܶܩܛܠܽܘܢܳܝܗ݈ܝ

John 12:10 – וֵאתרַעִיו הוַו רַבַּי כָּהנֵא דָּאפ ללָעָזַר נֵקטלוּנָיהי .

John 12:10 – And the chief priests deliberated about killing even Lazarus:

John 12:11 – ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܡܶܢ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܡܶܛܽܠܳܬ݂ܶܗ ܐܳܙܺܠ݈ܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܘܰܡܗܰܝܡܢܺܝܢ ܒ݁ܝܶܫܽܘܥ

John 12:11 – מֵטֻל דּסַגִּיֵאא מֵן יִהוּדָיֵא מֵטֻלָתֵה אָזִלין הוַו וַמהַימנִין בּיֵשׁוּע .

John 12:11 – because many of the Jews, on his account, went and believed in JESUS.

John 12:12 – ܘܰܠܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܐ݈ܚܪܺܢܳܐ ܟ݁ܶܢܫܳܐ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܳܐܐ ܐܰܝܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܳܐܬ݂ܶܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܥܰܕ݂ܥܺܕ݂ܳܐ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܫܡܰܥܘ ܕ݁ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܐܳܬ݂ܶܐ ܠܽܐܘܪܺܫܠܶܡ

John 12:12 – וַליַומָא אחרִנָא כֵּנשָׁא סַגִּיָאא אַינָא דָּאתֵא הוָא לעַדעִדָא כַּד שׁמַעו דּיֵשׁוּע אָתֵא לֻאורִשׁלֵם .

John 12:12 – And the next day, a great multitude who had come to the feast, when they heard that JESUS was coming to Jerusalem,

John 12:13 – ܫܩܰܠܘ ܣܰܘܟ݁ܶܐ ܕ݁ܕ݂ܶܩܠܶܐ ܘܰܢܦ݂ܰܩܘ ܠܽܐܘܪܥܶܗ ܘܩܳܥܶܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܐܽܘܫܰܥܢܳܐ ܒ݁ܪܺܝܟ݂ ܗ݈ܽܘ ܕ݁ܳܐܬ݂ܶܐ ܒ݁ܰܫܡܶܗ ܕ݁ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܡܰܠܟ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܺܐܝܣܪܳܝܶܠ

John 12:13 – שׁקַלו סַוכֵּא דּדֵקלֵא וַנפַקו לֻאורעֵה וקָעֵין הוַו וָאמרִין אוּשַׁענָא בּרִיכ הוּ דָּאתֵא בַּשׁמֵה דּמָריָא מַלכָּא דּאִיסרָיֵל .

John 12:13 – took boughs of palm-trees, and went out to meet him. And they cried, and said:

Hosanna, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of jehovah king of Israel !

John 12:14 – ܐܶܫܟ݁ܰܚ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܚܡܳܪܳܐ ܘܺܝܬ݂ܶܒ݂ ܥܠܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܐܰܝܟ݁ܰܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܟ݂ܬ݂ܺܝܒ݂

John 12:14 – אֵשׁכַּח דֵּין יֵשׁוּע חמָרָא וִיתֵב עלַוהי אַיכַּנָא דַּכתִיב .

John 12:14 – And JESUS found an ass, and sat upon it; as it is written

John 12:15 – ܠܳܐ ܬ݁ܶܕ݂ܚܠܺܝܢ ܒ݁ܰܪ݈ܬ݂ ܨܶܗܝܽܘܢ ܗܳܐ ܡܰܠܟ݁ܶܟ݂ܝ ܐܳܬ݂ܶܐ ܠܶܟ݂ܝ ܘܰܪܟ݂ܺܝܒ݂ ܥܰܠ ܥܺܝܠܳܐ ܒ݁ܰܪ ܐܰܬ݂ܳܢܳܐ

John 12:15 – לָא תֵּדחלִין בַּרת צֵהיוּן הָא מַלכֵּכי אָתֵא לֵכי וַרכִיב עַל עִילָא בַּר אַתָנָא .

John 12:15 – Fear not, daughter of Sion. Behold, thy king cometh to thee; and he rideth upon a colt, the foal of an ass.

John 12:16 – ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܠܳܐ ܝܺܕ݂ܰܥܘ ܬ݁ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܒ݁ܗܰܘ ܙܰܒ݂ܢܳܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܐܶܫܬ݁ܰܒ݁ܰܚ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܐܶܬ݁ܕ݁ܟ݂ܰܪܘ ܬ݁ܰܠܡܺܝܕ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܟ݁ܬ݂ܺܝܒ݂ܳܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܝ ܥܠܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܘܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܥܒ݂ܰܕ݂ܘ ܠܶܗ

John 12:16 – הָלֵין דֵּין לָא יִדַעו תַּלמִידַוהי בּהַו זַבנָא אֵלָא כַּד אֵשׁתַּבַּח יֵשׁוּע אֵתּדּכַרו תַּלמִידַוהי דּהָלֵין כּתִיבָן הוַי עלַוהי והָלֵין עבַדו לֵה .

John 12:16 – These things understood not his disciples, at that time; but when JESUS was glorified, then his disciples remembered that these things were written of him, and that they did them to him.

John 12:17 – ܘܣܳܗܶܕ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܟ݁ܶܢܫܳܐ ܗܰܘ ܕ݁ܥܰܡܶܗ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܩܪܳܐ ܠܠܳܥܳܙܰܪ ܡܶܢ ܩܰܒ݂ܪܳܐ ܘܰܐܩܺܝܡܶܗ ܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂ ܡܺܝܬ݂ܶܐ

John 12:17 – וסָהֵד הוָא כֵּנשָׁא הַו דּעַמֵה הוָא דַּקרָא ללָעָזַר מֵן קַברָא וַאקִימֵה מֵן בֵּית מִיתֵא .

John 12:17 – And the multitude that had been with him, testified that he had called Lazarus from the grave, and raised him from the dead.

John 12:18 – ܘܡܶܛܽܠ ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܢܦ݂ܰܩܘ ܠܩܽܘܒ݂ܠܶܗ ܟ݁ܶܢܫܶܐ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܕ݁ܰܫܡܰܥܘ ܕ݁ܳܐܬ݂ܳܐ ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܥܒ݂ܰܕ݂

John 12:18 – ומֵטֻל הָדֵא נפַקו לקוּבלֵה כֵּנשֵׁא סַגִּיֵאא דַּשׁמַעו דָּאתָא הָדֵא עבַד .

John 12:18 – And for this reason, great multitudes went out to meet him, as they had heard that he wrought this sign.

John 12:19 – ܦ݁ܪܺܝܫܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܳܡܪܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܚܰܕ݂ ܠܚܰܕ݂ ܚܳܙܶܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܡܰܘܬ݁ܪܺܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܡܶܕ݁ܶܡ ܕ݁ܗܳܐ ܥܳܠܡܳܐ ܟ݁ܽܠܶܗ ܐܶܙܰܠ ܠܶܗ ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܪܶܗ

John 12:19 – פּרִישֵׁא דֵּין אָמרִין הוַו חַד לחַד חָזֵין אנתּוּן דּלָא מַותּרִין אנתּוּן מֵדֵּם דּהָא עָלמָא כֻּלֵה אֵזַל לֵה בָּתרֵה .

John 12:19 – But the Pharisees said, one to another:

Do ye see, that ye are gaining nothing? For, lo, the whole world is going after him.

John 12:20 – ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܳܦ݂ ܡܶܢ ܥܰܡ݈ܡܶܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܫܳܐ ܒ݁ܗܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܰܣܠܶܩܘ ܠܡܶܣܓ݁ܰܕ݂ ܒ݁ܥܰܕ݂ܥܺܕ݂ܳܐ

John 12:20 – אִית הוַו דֵּין אָפ מֵן עַממֵא אנָשָׁא בּהוּן דַּסלֵקו למֵסגַּד בּעַדעִדָא .

John 12:20 – And there were also among the people, some who had come up to worship at the feast.

John 12:21 – ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܐܶܬ݂ܰܘ ܩܪܶܒ݂ܘ ܠܘܳܬ݂ ܦ݂ܺܝܠܺܝܦ݁ܳܘܣ ܗܰܘ ܕ݁ܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܶܝܬ݂‌ܨܰܝܳܕ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܓ݂ܠܺܝܠܳܐ ܘܫܰܐܠܽܘܗ݈ܝ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܡܳܪܝ ܨܳܒ݂ܶܝܢ ܚ݈ܢܰܢ ܢܶܚܙܶܐ ܠܝܶܫܽܘܥ

John 12:21 – הָלֵין אֵתַו קרֵבו לוָת פִילִיפָּוס הַו דּמֵן בֵּית‌צַיָדָא דַּגלִילָא ושַׁאלוּהי וָאמרִין לֵה מָרי צָבֵין חנַן נֵחזֵא ליֵשׁוּע .

John 12:21 – These came, and approached Philip, who was of Bethsaida in Galilee, and said to him:

My lord, we are desirous to see JESUS.

John 12:22 – ܘܶܐܬ݂ܳܐ ܗܽܘ ܦ݂ܺܝܠܺܝܦ݁ܳܘܣ ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܠܰܐܢܕ݁ܪܶܐܘܳܣ ܘܰܐܢܕ݁ܪܶܐܘܳܣ ܘܦ݂ܺܝܠܺܝܦ݁ܳܘܣ ܐܶܡܰܪܘ ܠܝܶܫܽܘܥ

John 12:22 – וֵאתָא הוּ פִילִיפָּוס וֵאמַר לַאנדּרֵאוָס וַאנדּרֵאוָס ופִילִיפָּוס אֵמַרו ליֵשׁוּע .

John 12:22 – Philip came and told Andrew; and Andrew and Philip told JESUS.

John 12:23 – ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܥܢܳܐ ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܐܶܬ݂ܳܬ݂ ܫܳܥܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܢܶܫܬ݁ܰܒ݁ܰܚ ܒ݁ܪܶܗ ܕ݁ܐ݈ܢܳܫܳܐ

John 12:23 – יֵשׁוּע דֵּין ענָא וֵאמַר להוּן אֵתָת שָׁעתָא דּנֵשׁתַּבַּח בּרֵה דּאנָשָׁא .

John 12:23 – And JESUS answered, and said to them:

The hour is come that the Son of man should be glorified.

John 12:24 – ܐܰܡܺܝܢ ܐܰܡܺܝܢ ܐܳܡܰܪ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܰܦ݂ܪܶܕ݁ܬ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܚܶܛܬ݂ܳܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܢܳܦ݂ܠܳܐ ܘܡܳܝܬ݁ܳܐ ܒ݁ܰܐܪܥܳܐ ܒ݁ܰܠܚܽܘܕ݂ܶܝܗ ܦ݁ܳܝܫܳܐ ܐܶܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܡܳܝܬ݁ܳܐ ܦ݁ܺܐܪܶܐ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܡܰܝܬ݁ܝܳܐ

John 12:24 – אַמִין אַמִין אָמַר אנָא לכוּן דַּפרֵדּתָּא דּחֵטתָא אֵלָא נָפלָא ומָיתָּא בַּארעָא בַּלחוּדֵיה פָּישָׁא אֵן דֵּין מָיתָּא פּאִרֵא סַגִּיֵאא מַיתּיָא .

John 12:24 – Verily, verily, I say to you, That a kernel of wheat, unless it fall and die in the ground, remaineth alone; but if it die, it produceth numerous fruits.

John 12:25 – ܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܪܳܚܶܡ ܢܰܦ݂ܫܶܗ ܢܰܘܒ݁ܕ݂ܺܝܗ ܘܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܣܳܢܶܐ ܢܰܦ݂ܫܶܗ ܒ݁ܥܳܠܡܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܢܶܛܪܺܝܗ ܠܚܰܝܶܐ ܕ݁ܰܠܥܳܠܰܡ

John 12:25 – מַן דּרָחֵם נַפשֵׁה נַובּדִיה ומַן דּסָנֵא נַפשֵׁה בּעָלמָא הָנָא נֵטרִיה לחַיֵא דַּלעָלַם .

John 12:25 – He that loveth his life, will lose it; and he that hateth his life, in this world, will preserve it unto life everlasting.

John 12:26 – ܐܶܢ ܠܺܝ ܐ݈ܢܳܫ ܡܫܰܡܶܫ ܢܺܐܬ݂ܶܐ ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܰܪܝ ܘܰܐܝܟ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܐܢܳܐ ܐܺܝܬ݂ܰܝ ܬ݁ܰܡܳܢ ܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܐܳܦ݂ ܡܫܰܡܫܳܢܝ ܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܠܺܝ ܡܫܰܡܶܫ ܢܝܰܩܪܺܝܘܗ݈ܝ ܐܰܒ݂ܳܐ

John 12:26 – אֵן לִי אנָשׁ משַׁמֵשׁ נאִתֵא בָּתַרי וַאיכָּא דֵּאנָא אִיתַי תַּמָן נֵהוֵא אָפ משַׁמשָׁני מַן דּלִי משַׁמֵשׁ ניַקרִיוהי אַבָא .

John 12:26 – If any one is servant to me, he will come after me; and where I am, there also will my servant be. Him that serveth me, will the Father honor.

John 12:27 – ܗܳܫܳܐ ܢܰܦ݂ܫܝ ܗܳܐ ܫܓ݂ܺܝܫܳܐ ܘܡܳܢܳܐ ܐܺܡܰܪ ܐܳܒ݂ܝ ܦ݁ܰܨܳܢܝ ܡܶܢ ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܫܳܥܬ݂ܳܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܐܶܬ݂ܺܝܬ݂ ܠܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܫܳܥܬ݂ܳܐ

John 12:27 – הָשָׁא נַפשׁי הָא שׁגִישָׁא ומָנָא אִמַר אָבי פַּצָני מֵן הָדֵא שָׁעתָא אֵלָא מֵטֻל הָנָא אֵתִית להָדֵא שָׁעתָא .

John 12:27 – Behold, now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say ? My Father, deliver me from this hour ? But for this very cause, came I to this hour.

John 12:28 – ܐܰܒ݂ܳܐ ܫܰܒ݁ܰܚ ܫܡܳܟ݂ ܘܩܳܠܳܐ ܐܶܫܬ݁ܡܰܥ ܡܶܢ ܫܡܰܝܳܐ ܫܰܒ݁ܚܶܬ݂ ܘܬ݂ܽܘܒ݂ ܡܫܰܒ݁ܰܚ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ

John 12:28 – אַבָא שַׁבַּח שׁמָכ וקָלָא אֵשׁתּמַע מֵן שׁמַיָא שַׁבּחֵת ותוּב משַׁבַּח אנָא .

John 12:28 – Father, glorify thy name! And a voice was heard from heaven:

I have glorified [it]; and I will glorify [it] again.

John 12:29 – ܘܟ݂ܶܢܫܳܐ ܕ݁ܩܳܐܶܡ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܫܡܰܥܘ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܪܰܥܡܳܐ ܗܘܳܐ ܐ݈ܚܪܳܢܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܳܡܪܺܝܢ ܡܰܠܰܐܟ݂ܳܐ ܡܰܠܶܠ ܥܰܡܶܗ

John 12:29 – וכֵנשָׁא דּקָאֵם הוָא שׁמַעו וָאמרִין רַעמָא הוָא אחרָנֵא דֵּין אָמרִין מַלַאכָא מַלֵל עַמֵה .

John 12:29 – And the multitude standing by, heard [it]; and they said:

There was thunder.

But others said:

An angel spoke with him.

John 12:30 – ܥܢܳܐ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܠܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠܳܬ݂ܝ ܗܘܳܐ ܩܳܠܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠܳܬ݂ܟ݂ܽܘܢ

John 12:30 – ענָא יֵשׁוּע וֵאמַר להוּן לָא הוָא מֵטֻלָתי הוָא קָלָא הָנָא אֵלָא מֵטֻלָתכוּן .

John 12:30 – JESUS answered, and said to them:

This voice was not for my sake, but for yours.

John 12:31 – ܗܳܫܳܐ ܕ݁ܺܝܢܶܗ ܗ݈ܽܘ ܕ݁ܥܳܠܡܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܗܳܫܳܐ ܐܰܪܟ݂ܽܘܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܥܳܠܡܳܐ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܡܶܫܬ݁ܕ݂ܶܐ ܠܒ݂ܰܪ

John 12:31 – הָשָׁא דִּינֵה הוּ דּעָלמָא הָנָא הָשָׁא אַרכוּנָא דּעָלמָא הָנָא מֵשׁתּדֵא לבַר .

John 12:31 – Now is the judgment of this world:

now the ruler of this world is cast out.

John 12:32 – ܘܶܐܢܳܐ ܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܐܬ݁ܬ݁ܪܺܝܡܶܬ݂ ܡܶܢ ܐܰܪܥܳܐ ܐܶܓ݁ܶܕ݂ ܟ݁ܽܠܢܳܫ ܠܘܳܬ݂ܝ

John 12:32 – וֵאנָא מָא דֵּאתּתּרִימֵת מֵן אַרעָא אֵגֵּד כֻּלנָשׁ לוָתי .

John 12:32 – And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to me.

John 12:33 – ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܕ݁ܰܢܚܰܘܶܐ ܒ݁ܰܐܝܢܳܐ ܡܰܘܬ݁ܳܐ ܡܳܐܶܬ݂

John 12:33 – הָדֵא דֵּין אֵמַר דַּנחַוֵא בַּאינָא מַותָּא מָאֵת .

John 12:33 – And this he said, to show by what manner of death, he was to die.

John 12:34 – ܐܳܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܟ݁ܶܢܫܶܐ ܚܢܰܢ ܫܡܰܥܢ ܡܶܢ ܢܳܡܽܘܣܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܡܫܺܝܚܳܐ ܠܥܳܠܰܡ ܡܩܰܘܶܐ ܐܰܝܟ݁ܰܢܳܐ ܐܳܡܰܪ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܕ݁ܰܥܬ݂ܺܝܕ݂ ܗ݈ܽܘ ܕ݁ܢܶܬ݁ܬ݁ܪܺܝܡ ܒ݁ܪܶܗ ܕ݁ܐ݈ܢܳܫܳܐ ܡܰܢܽܘ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܒ݁ܪܶܗ ܕ݁ܐ݈ܢܳܫܳܐ

John 12:34 – אָמרִין לֵה כֵּנשֵׁא חנַן שׁמַען מֵן נָמוּסָא דַּמשִׁיחָא לעָלַם מקַוֵא אַיכַּנָא אָמַר אַנתּ דַּעתִיד הוּ דּנֵתּתּרִים בּרֵה דּאנָשָׁא מַנוּ הָנָא בּרֵה דּאנָשָׁא .

John 12:34 – The multitude said to him:

We have heard from the law, that the Messiah abideth for ever:

[and] how sayest thou, that the Son of man is to be lifted up? Who is this Son of man?

John 12:35 – ܐܳܡܰܪ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܩܰܠܺܝܠ ܐ݈ܚܪܺܝܢ ܙܰܒ݂ܢܳܐ ܢܽܘܗܪܳܐ ܥܰܡܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܗ݈ܽܘ ܗܰܠܶܟ݂ܘ ܥܰܕ݂ ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܢܽܘܗܪܳܐ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܚܶܫܽܘܟ݂ܳܐ ܢܰܕ݂ܪܶܟ݂ܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܘܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܰܡܗܰܠܶܟ݂ ܒ݁ܚܶܫܽܘܟ݂ܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܝܳܕ݂ܰܥ ܠܰܐܝܟ݁ܳܐ ܐܳܙܶܠ

John 12:35 – אָמַר להוּן יֵשׁוּע קַלִיל אחרִין זַבנָא נוּהרָא עַמכוּן הוּ הַלֵכו עַד אִית לכוּן נוּהרָא דּלָא חֵשׁוּכָא נַדרֵככוּן ומַן דַּמהַלֵכ בּחֵשׁוּכָא לָא יָדַע לַאיכָּא אָזֵל .

John 12:35 – JESUS said to them:

A short time longer, the light is with you. Walk, while ye have the light, lest the darkness overtake you. He that walketh in the dark, knoweth not whither he goeth.

John 12:36 – ܥܰܕ݂ ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܢܽܘܗܪܳܐ ܗܰܝܡܶܢܘ ܒ݁ܢܽܘܗܪܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܒ݂ܢܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܢܽܘܗܪܳܐ ܬ݁ܶܗܘܽܘܢ ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܡܰܠܶܠ ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܘܶܐܙܰܠ ܐܶܬ݁ܛܰܫܺܝ ܡܶܢܗܽܘܢ

John 12:36 – עַד אִית לכוּן נוּהרָא הַימֵנו בּנוּהרָא דַּבנַוהי דּנוּהרָא תֵּהווּן הָלֵין מַלֵל יֵשׁוּע וֵאזַל אֵתּטַשִׁי מֵנהוּן .

John 12:36 – While the light is with you, confide in the light; that ye may be children of the light.

These things said JESUS, and departed, and concealed himself from them.

John 12:37 – ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂ ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܟ݁ܽܠܗܶܝܢ ܐܳܬ݂ܘܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܥܒ݂ܰܕ݂ ܩܕ݂ܳܡܰܝܗܽܘܢ ܠܳܐ ܗܰܝܡܶܢܘ ܒ݁ܶܗ

John 12:37 – וכַד הָלֵין כֻּלהֵין אָתוָתָא עבַד קדָמַיהוּן לָא הַימֵנו בֵּה .

John 12:37 – And although he wrought all these signs before them, they believed him not;

John 12:38 – ܕ݁ܬ݂ܶܬ݂ܡܰܠܶܐ ܡܶܠܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܐܫܰܥܝܳܐ ܢܒ݂ܺܝܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܐܡܰܪ ܡܳܪܝ ܡܰܢܽܘ ܗܰܝܡܶܢ ܠܫܶܡܥܰܢ ܘܰܕ݂ܪܳܥܶܗ ܕ݁ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܠܡܰܢ ܐܶܬ݂ܓ݁ܠܺܝ

John 12:38 – דּתֵתמַלֵא מֵלתָא דֵּאשַׁעיָא נבִיָא דֵּאמַר מָרי מַנוּ הַימֵן לשֵׁמעַן וַדרָעֵה דּמָריָא למַן אֵתגּלִי .

John 12:38 – that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, who said:

My Lord; who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of jehovah revealed ?

John 12:39 – ܡܶܛܽܠ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܡܶܫܟ݁ܚܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܕ݁ܰܢܗܰܝܡܢܽܘܢ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܬ݂ܽܘܒ݂ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܐܶܫܰܥܝܳܐ

John 12:39 – מֵטֻל הָנָא לָא מֵשׁכּחִין הוַו דַּנהַימנוּן מֵטֻל דּתוּב אֵמַר אֵשַׁעיָא .

John 12:39 – For this reason they could not believe, because Isaiah said again:

John 12:40 – ܕ݁ܥܰܘܰܪܘ ܥܰܝܢܰܝܗܽܘܢ ܘܰܐܚܫܶܟ݂ܘ ܠܶܒ݁ܗܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܢܶܚܙܽܘܢ ܒ݁ܥܰܝܢܰܝܗܽܘܢ ܘܢܶܣܬ݁ܰܟ݁ܠܽܘܢ ܒ݁ܠܶܒ݁ܗܽܘܢ ܘܢܶܬ݂ܦ݁ܢܽܘܢ ܘܰܐܣܶܐ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ

John 12:40 – דּעַוַרו עַינַיהוּן וַאחשֵׁכו לֵבּהוּן דּלָא נֵחזוּן בּעַינַיהוּן ונֵסתַּכּלוּן בּלֵבּהוּן ונֵתפּנוּן וַאסֵא אֵנוּן .

John 12:40 – They have blinded their eyes, and darkened their hearts; that they might not see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and be converted; and I should heal them.

John 12:41 – ܗܳܠܶܝܢ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܐܶܫܰܥܝܳܐ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܚܙܳܐ ܫܽܘܒ݂ܚܶܗ ܘܡܰܠܶܠ ܥܠܰܘܗ݈ܝ

John 12:41 – הָלֵין אֵמַר אֵשַׁעיָא כַּד חזָא שׁוּבחֵה ומַלֵל עלַוהי .

John 12:41 – These things spake Isaiah, when he saw his glory, and spoke of him.

John 12:42 – ܐܳܦ݂ ܡܶܢ ܪܺܫܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܗܰܝܡܶܢܘ ܒ݁ܶܗ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܦ݁ܪܺܝܫܶܐ ܠܳܐ ܡܰܘܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܢܶܗܘܽܘܢ ܠܒ݂ܰܪ ܡܶܢ ܟ݁ܢܽܘܫܬ݁ܳܐ

John 12:42 – אָפ מֵן רִשֵׁא דֵּין סַגִּיֵאא הַימֵנו בֵּה אֵלָא מֵטֻל פּרִישֵׁא לָא מַודֵּין הוַו דּלָא נֵהווּן לבַר מֵן כּנוּשׁתָּא .

John 12:42 – And of the chiefs also, many believed on him; but on account of the Pharisees, they did not confess [him], lest they should be put out of the synagogue;

John 12:43 – ܪܚܶܡܘ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܫܽܘܒ݂ܚܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܒ݂ܢܰܝܢܳܫܳܐ ܝܰܬ݁ܺܝܪ ܡܶܢ ܫܽܘܒ݂ܚܶܗ ܕ݁ܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ

John 12:43 – רחֵמו גֵּיר שׁוּבחָא דַּבנַינָשָׁא יַתִּיר מֵן שׁוּבחֵה דַּאלָהָא .

John 12:43 – for they loved the praise of men, more than the praise of God.

John 12:44 – ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܩܥܳܐ ܘܶܐܡܰܪ ܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܰܡܗܰܝܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܺܝ ܠܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܒ݁ܺܝ ܡܗܰܝܡܶܢ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܒ݁ܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܫܰܕ݁ܪܰܢܝ

John 12:44 – יֵשׁוּע דֵּין קעָא וֵאמַר מַן דַּמהַימֵן בִּי לָא הוָא בִּי מהַימֵן אֵלָא בּמַן דּשַׁדּרַני .

John 12:44 – And JESUS cried, and said:

He that believeth in me, believeth not in me, but in him that sent me.

John 12:45 – ܘܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܠܺܝ ܚܳܙܶܐ ܚܙܳܐ ܠܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܫܰܕ݁ܪܰܢܝ

John 12:45 – ומַן דּלִי חָזֵא חזָא למַן דּשַׁדּרַני .

John 12:45 – And he that seeth me, seeth him that sent me.

John 12:46 – ܐܶܢܳܐ ܢܽܘܗܪܳܐ ܐܶܬ݂ܺܝܬ݂ ܠܥܳܠܡܳܐ ܕ݁ܟ݂ܽܠ ܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܰܡܗܰܝܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܺܝ ܠܳܐ ܢܩܰܘܶܐ ܒ݁ܚܶܫܽܘܟ݂ܳܐ

John 12:46 – אֵנָא נוּהרָא אֵתִית לעָלמָא דּכֻל מַן דַּמהַימֵן בִּי לָא נקַוֵא בּחֵשׁוּכָא .

John 12:46 – I have come into the world, a light, that whoever believeth in me, might not abide in darkness.

John 12:47 – ܘܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܫܳܡܰܥ ܡܶܠܰܝ ܘܠܳܐ ܢܳܛܰܪ ܠܗܶܝܢ ܐܶܢܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܕ݁ܳܐܶܢ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܠܶܗ ܠܳܐ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܐܶܬ݂ܺܝܬ݂ ܕ݁ܶܐܕ݁ܽܘܢ ܠܥܳܠܡܳܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܐܚܶܐ ܠܥܳܠܡܳܐ

John 12:47 – ומַן דּשָׁמַע מֵלַי ולָא נָטַר להֵין אֵנָא לָא דָּאֵן אנָא לֵה לָא גֵּיר אֵתִית דֵּאדּוּן לעָלמָא אֵלָא דַּאחֵא לעָלמָא .

John 12:47 – And whoever shall hear my words, and not observe them, I judge him not; for I did not come to judge the world, but to vivify the world.

John 12:48 – ܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܛܳܠܶܡ ܠܺܝ ܘܠܳܐ ܡܩܰܒ݁ܶܠ ܡܶܠܰܝ ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܡܰܢ ܕ݁ܕ݂ܳܐܶܢ ܠܶܗ ܡܶܠܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܡܰܠܠܶܬ݂ ܗܺܝ ܕ݁ܳܝܢܳܐ ܠܶܗ ܒ݁ܝܰܘܡܳܐ ܐ݈ܚܪܳܝܳܐ

John 12:48 – מַן דּטָלֵם לִי ולָא מקַבֵּל מֵלַי אִית מַן דּדָאֵן לֵה מֵלתָא דּמַללֵת הִי דָּינָא לֵה בּיַומָא אחרָיָא .

John 12:48 – Whoever rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, there is one to judge him; the word which I speak, will judge him, at the last day.

John 12:49 – ܕ݁ܶܐܢܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܢܰܦ݂ܫܝ ܠܳܐ ܡܰܠܠܶܬ݂ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܐܰܒ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܫܰܕ݁ܪܰܢܝ ܗܽܘ ܝܰܗ݈ܒ݂ ܠܺܝ ܦ݁ܽܘܩܕ݁ܳܢܳܐ ܡܳܢܳܐ ܐܺܡܰܪ ܘܡܳܢܳܐ ܐܶܡܰܠܶܠ

John 12:49 – דֵּאנָא מֵן נַפשׁי לָא מַללֵת אֵלָא אַבָא דּשַׁדּרַני הוּ יַהב לִי פּוּקדָּנָא מָנָא אִמַר ומָנָא אֵמַלֵל .

John 12:49 – For I have not spoken from myself; but the Father who sent me, he gave me commandment, what I should speak, and what I should say.

John 12:50 – ܘܝܳܕ݂ܰܥ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܦ݂ܽܘܩܕ݁ܳܢܶܗ ܚܰܝܶܐ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܰܠܥܳܠܰܡ ܐܰܝܠܶܝܢ ܗܳܟ݂ܺܝܠ ܕ݁ܰܡܡܰܠܶܠ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܐܰܝܟ݁ܰܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܐܡܰܪ ܠܺܝ ܐܳܒ݂ܝ ܗܳܟ݂ܰܢܳܐ ܡܡܰܠܶܠ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ

John 12:50 – ויָדַע אנָא דּפוּקדָּנֵה חַיֵא אֵנוּן דַּלעָלַם אַילֵין הָכִיל דַּממַלֵל אנָא אַיכַּנָא דֵּאמַר לִי אָבי הָכַנָא ממַלֵל אנָא .

John 12:50 – And I know that his commandment is life eternal. Therefore, these things which I speak, as my Father hath said to me, so I speak.
