Psalms
149,1 Hallelujah. {N}
Sing unto the LORD a new song, and His praise in the assembly of the saints.
149,2 Let Israel rejoice in his Maker;
let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
149,3 Let them praise His name in the dance;
let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp.
149,4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in His people;
He adorneth the humble with salvation.
149,5 Let the saints exult in glory;
let them sing for joy upon their beds.
149,6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
149,7 To execute vengeance upon the nations, and chastisements upon the peoples;
149,8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
149,9 To execute upon them the judgment written;
He is the glory of all His saints. {N}
Hallelujah.

Genesis16,14 Wherefore the well was called ‘Beer-lahai-roi;
behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.
16,15 And Hagar bore Abram a son;
and Abram called the name of his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.
16,16 And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram. {S}
17,1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him:
‘I am God Almighty;
walk before Me, and be thou wholehearted.
17,2 And I will make My covenant between Me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.’
17,3 And Abram fell on his face;
and God talked with him, saying:
17,4 ‘As for Me, behold, My covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be the father of a multitude of nations.
17,5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham;
for the father of a multitude of nations have I made thee.
17,6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
17,7 And I will establish My covenant between Me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.
17,8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land of thy sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession;
and I will be their God.’
17,9 And God said unto Abraham:
‘And as for thee, thou shalt keep My covenant, thou, and thy seed after thee throughout their generations.
17,10 This is My covenant, which ye shall keep, between Me and you and thy seed after thee:
every male among you shall be circumcised.
17,11 And ye shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin;
and it shall be a token of a covenant betwixt Me and you.
17,12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every male throughout your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any foreigner, that is not of thy seed.
17,13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised;
and My covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
17,14 And the uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that soul shall be cut off from his people;
he hath broken My covenant.’ {S}
17,15 And God said unto Abraham:
‘As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.

Isaiah
5,21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! {S}
5,22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink;
5,23 That justify the wicked for a reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! {P}
5,24 Therefore as the tongue of fire devoureth the stubble, and as the chaff is consumed in the flame, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust;
because they have rejected the law of the LORD of hosts, and contemned the word of the Holy One of Israel.
5,25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against His people, and He hath stretched forth His hand against them, and hath smitten them, and the hills did tremble, and their carcasses were as refuse in the midst of the streets.
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
5,26 And He will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth;
and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly;
5,27 None shall be weary nor stumble among them;
none shall slumber nor sleep;
neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken;
5,28 Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent;
their horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind;
5,29 Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions, yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and carry it away safe, and there shall be none to deliver.
5,30 And they shall roar against them in that day like the roaring of the sea;
and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and distress, and the light is darkened in the skies thereof. {P}
6,1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple.
6,2 Above Him stood the seraphim;
each one had six wings:
with twain he covered his face and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
6,3 And one called unto another, and said:
Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts;
the whole earth is full of His glory.
6,4 And the posts of the door were moved at the voice of them that called, and the house was filled with smoke.
6,5 Then said I:
Woe is me!
for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
6,6 Then flew unto me one of the seraphim, with a glowing stone in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar;
6,7 and he touched my mouth with it, and said:
Lo, this hath touched thy lips;
and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin expiated.
6,8 And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?
Then I said:
‘Here am I;
send me.’
6,9 And He said:
‘Go, and tell this people:
hear ye indeed, but understand not;
and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
6,10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes;
lest they, seeing with their eyes, and hearing with their ears, and understanding with their heart, return, and be healed.’
6,11 Then said I:
‘Lord, how long?’
And He answered:
‘Until cities be waste without inhabitant, and houses without man, and the land become utterly waste,
6,12 And the LORD have removed men far away, and the forsaken places be many in the midst of the land.
6,13 And if there be yet a tenth in it, it shall again be eaten up;
as a terebinth, and as an oak, whose stock remaineth, when they cast their leaves, so the holy seed shall be the stock thereof.’ {P}
7,1 And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Aram, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up to Jerusalem to war against it;
but could not prevail against it.
7,2 And it was told the house of David, saying:
‘Aram is confederate with Ephraim.’
And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the forest are moved with the wind. {S}

Esther
1,1 Now it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus–
this is Ahasuerus who reigned, from India even unto Ethiopia, over a hundred and seven and twenty provinces–
1,2 that in those days, when the king Ahasuerus sat on the throne of his kingdom, which was in Shushan the castle,
1,3 in the third year of his reign, he made a feast unto all his princes and his servants;
the army of Persia and Media, the nobles and princes of the provinces, being before him;
1,4 when he showed the riches of his glorious kingdom and the honour of his excellent majesty, many days, even a hundred and fourscore days.
1,5 And when these days were fulfilled, the king made a feast unto all the people that were present in Shushan the castle, both great and small, seven days, in the court of the garden of the king’s palace;
1,6 there were hangings of white, fine cotton, and blue, bordered with cords of fine linen and purple, upon silver rods and pillars of marble;
the couches were of gold and silver, upon a pavement of green, and white, and shell, and onyx marble.
1,7 And they gave them drink in vessels of gold–
the vessels being diverse one from another–
and royal wine in abundance, according to the bounty of the king.
1,8 And the drinking was according to the law;
none did compel;
for so the king had appointed to all the officers of his house, that they should do according to every man’s pleasure. {S}
1,9 Also Vashti the queen made a feast for the women in the royal house which belonged to king Ahasuerus.
1,10 On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Bizzetha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven chamberlains that ministered in the presence of Ahasuerus the king,
1,11 to bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to show the peoples and the princes her beauty;
for she was fair to look on.
1,12 But the queen Vashti refused to come at the king’s commandment by the chamberlains;
therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him. {S}
1,13 Then the king said to the wise men, who knew the times–
for so was the king’s manner toward all that knew law and judgment;
1,14 and the next unto him was Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media, who saw the king’s face, and sat the first in the kingdom:
1,15 ‘What shall we do unto the queen Vashti according to law, forasmuch as she hath not done the bidding of the king Ahasuerus by the chamberlains?’ {S}

Fear not, Mariam, for thou hast found favour with Aloha.

Acts 28:7 – But there were possessions in that place (belonging) to a certain man whose name was Publios, who himself was the chief of the island; and he cheerfully received us into his house three days.

Acts 28:8 – But the father of Publios was ill in a fever, and a disease of the bowels.
And Paulos went in to him, and prayed and laid his hand on him, and healed him.
Acts 28:9 – And when this was done, the rest also of them who were diseased in the island came to him and were cured.

and when we went forth from thence they supplied us.
