The July 27 Bible

Psalms – 29,1 A Psalm of David.
Ascribe unto the LORD, O ye sons of might, ascribe unto the LORD glory and strength.
29,2 Ascribe unto the LORD the glory due unto His name;
worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
29,3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; {N}
the God of glory thundereth, even the LORD upon many waters.
29,4 The voice of the LORD is powerful;
the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
29,5 The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars;
yea, the LORD breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
29,6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf;
Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox.

Genesis – 36,4 And Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz;
and Basemath bore Reuel;
36,5 and Oholibamah bore Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
These are the sons of Esau, that were born unto him in the land of Canaan.
36,6 And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the souls of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his possessions, which he had gathered in the land of Canaan;
and went into a land away from his brother Jacob.
36,7 For their substance was too great for them to dwell together;
and the land of their sojournings could not bear them because of their cattle.
36,8 And Esau dwelt in the mountain-land of Seir–
Esau is Edom.
36,9 And these are the generations of Esau the father of a the Edomites in the mountain-land of Seir.
36,10 These are the names of Esau’s sons:
Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Basemath the wife of Esau.
36,11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
36,12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau’s son; and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek.
These are the sons of Adah Esau’s wife.
36,13 And these are the sons of Reuel:
Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
These were the sons of Basemath Esau’s wife.
36,14 And these were the sons of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, Esau’s wife;
and she bore to Esau Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
36,15 These are the chiefs of the sons of Esau:
the sons of Eliphaz the first-born of Esau:
the chief of Teman, the chief of Omar, the chief of Zepho, the chief of Kenaz,
36,16 the chief of Korah, the chief of Gatam, the chief of Amalek.
These are the chiefs that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom.
These are the sons of Adah.
36,17 And these are the sons of Reuel Esau’s son:
the chief of Nahath, the chief of Zerah, the chief of Shammah, the chief of Mizzah.
These are the chiefs that came of Reuel in the land of Edom.
These are the sons of Basemath Esau’s wife.
36,18 And these are the sons of Oholibamah Esau’s wife:
the chief of Jeush, the chief of Jalam, the chief of Korah.
These are the chiefs that came of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.
36,19 These are the sons of Esau, and these are their chiefs;
the same is Edom. {S}

Isaiah – 56,4 For thus saith the LORD concerning the eunuchs that keep My sabbaths, and choose the things that please Me, and hold fast by My covenant:
56,5 Even unto them will I give in My house and within My walls a monument and a memorial better than sons and daughters;
I will give them an everlasting memorial, that shall not be cut off. {S}
56,6 Also the aliens, that join themselves to the LORD, to minister unto Him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be His servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast by My covenant:
56,7 Even them will I bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer; their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be acceptable upon Mine altar;
for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.
56,8 Saith the Lord GOD who gathereth the dispersed of Israel:
Yet I will gather others to him, beside those of him that are gathered.
56,9 All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest. {P}

56,10 His watchmen are all blind, without knowledge;
they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark;
raving, lying down, loving to slumber.
56,11 Yea, the dogs are greedy, they know not when they have enough;
and these are shepherds that cannot understand;
they all turn to their own way, each one to his gain, one and all.
56,12 ‘Come ye, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink;
and to-morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.’
57,1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart, and godly men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
57,2 He entereth into peace, they rest in their beds, each one that walketh in his uprightness. {S}
57,3 But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the harlot.
57,4 Against whom do ye sport yourselves?
Against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue?
Are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,
57,5 Ye that inflame yourselves among the terebinths, under every leafy tree;
that slay the children in the valleys, under the clefts of the rocks?
57,6 Among the smooth stones of the valley is thy portion;
they, they are thy lot;
even to them hast thou poured a drink-offering, thou hast offered a meal-offering.
Should I pacify Myself for these things?
57,7 Upon a high and lofty mountain hast thou set thy bed;
thither also wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.
57,8 And behind the doors and the posts hast thou set up thy symbol;
for thou hast uncovered, and art gone up from Me, thou hast enlarged thy bed, and chosen thee of them whose bed thou lovedst, whose hand thou sawest.
57,9 And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thine ambassadors far off, even down to the nether-world.
57,10 Thou wast wearied with the length of thy way;
yet saidst thou not:
‘There is no hope’;
thou didst find a renewal of thy strength, therefore thou wast not affected.
57,11 And of whom hast thou been afraid and in fear, that thou wouldest fail?
And as for Me, thou hast not remembered Me, nor laid it to thy heart.
Have not I held My peace even of long time?
Therefore thou fearest Me not.
57,12 I will declare thy righteousness;
thy works also–
they shall not profit thee.
57,13 When thou criest, let them that thou hast gathered deliver thee;
but the wind shall carry them all away, a breath shall bear them off;
but he that taketh refuge in Me shall possess the land, and shall inherit My holy mountain.
57,14 And He will say:
cast ye up, cast ye up, clear the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of My people. {S}
57,15 For thus saith the High and Lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy:
I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
57,16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth;
for the spirit that enwrappeth itself is from Me, and the souls which I have made.
57,17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth and smote him, I hid Me and was wroth;
and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
