Ketubim Readings for Day 9 Psalms 105-117

Psalms

Chapter 105

1 O give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name; make known His doings among the peoples.
2 Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak ye of all His marvellous works.
3 Glory ye in His holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
4 Seek ye the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.
ה זִכְרוּ–נִפְלְאוֹתָיו אֲשֶׁר-עָשָׂה; מֹפְתָיו, וּמִשְׁפְּטֵי-פִיו. 5 Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;
6 O ye seed of Abraham His servant, ye children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
7 He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
ח זָכַר לְעוֹלָם בְּרִיתוֹ; דָּבָר צִוָּה, לְאֶלֶף דּוֹר. 8 He hath remembered His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations;
ט אֲשֶׁר כָּרַת, אֶת-אַבְרָהָם; וּשְׁבוּעָתוֹ לְיִשְׂחָק. 9 [The covenant] which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac;
י וַיַּעֲמִידֶהָ לְיַעֲקֹב לְחֹק; לְיִשְׂרָאֵל, בְּרִית עוֹלָם. 10 And He established it unto Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
11 Saying: ‘Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.’
12 When they were but a few men in number. Yea, very few, and sojourners in it,
13 And when they went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,
14 He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea, for their sake He reproved kings:
15 ‘Touch not Mine anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.’
16 And He called a famine upon the land; He broke the whole staff of bread.
יז שָׁלַח לִפְנֵיהֶם אִישׁ; לְעֶבֶד, נִמְכַּר יוֹסֵף. 17 He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a servant;
יח עִנּוּ בַכֶּבֶל רגליו (רַגְלוֹ); בַּרְזֶל, בָּאָה נַפְשׁוֹ. 18 His feet they hurt with fetters, his person was laid in iron;
19 Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the LORD tested him.
20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the peoples, and set him free.
כא שָׂמוֹ אָדוֹן לְבֵיתוֹ; וּמֹשֵׁל, בְּכָל-קִנְיָנוֹ. 21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions;
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.
23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 And He increased His people greatly, and made them too mighty for their adversaries.
25 He turned their heart to hate His people, to deal craftily with His servants.
26 He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen.
27 They wrought among them His manifold signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 He sent darkness, and it was dark; and they rebelled not against His word.
29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 Their land swarmed with frogs, in the chambers of their kings.
31 He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats in all their borders.
32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
33 He smote their vines also and their fig-trees; and broke the trees of their borders.
34 He spoke, and the locust came, and the canker-worm without number,
35 And did eat up every herb in their land, and did eat up the fruit of their ground.
36 He smote also all the first-born in their land, the first-fruits of all their strength.
37 And He brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was none that stumbled among His tribes.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed; for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
39 He spread a cloud for a screen; and fire to give light in the night.
40 They asked, and He brought quails, and gave them in plenty the bread of heaven.
41 He opened the rock, and waters gushed out; they ran, a river in the dry places.
מב כִּי-זָכַר, אֶת-דְּבַר קָדְשׁוֹ; אֶת-אַבְרָהָם עַבְדּוֹ. 42 For He remembered His holy word unto Abraham His servant;
43 And He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with singing.
מד וַיִּתֵּן לָהֶם, אַרְצוֹת גּוֹיִם; וַעֲמַל לְאֻמִּים יִירָשׁוּ. 44 And He gave them the lands of the nations, and they took the labour of the peoples in possession;
מה בַּעֲבוּר, יִשְׁמְרוּ חֻקָּיו– וְתוֹרֹתָיו יִנְצֹרוּ;
הַלְלוּ-יָהּ. 45 That they might keep His statutes, and observe His laws. {N}
Hallelujah.
Chapter 106

הוֹדוּ לַיהוָה כִּי-טוֹב– כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ. 1 Hallelujah. {N}
O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever.
2 Who can express the mighty acts of the LORD, or make all His praise to be heard?
3 Happy are they that keep justice, that do righteousness at all times.
ד זָכְרֵנִי יְהוָה, בִּרְצוֹן עַמֶּךָ; פָּקְדֵנִי, בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ. 4 Remember me, O LORD, when Thou favourest Thy people; O think of me at Thy salvation;
ה לִרְאוֹת, בְּטוֹבַת בְּחִירֶיךָ– לִשְׂמֹחַ, בְּשִׂמְחַת גּוֹיֶךָ;
לְהִתְהַלֵּל, עִם-נַחֲלָתֶךָ. 5 That I may behold the prosperity of Thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of Thy nation, {N}
that I may glory with Thine inheritance.
6 We have sinned with our fathers, we have done iniquitously, we have dealt wickedly.
לֹא זָכְרוּ, אֶת-רֹב חֲסָדֶיךָ;
וַיַּמְרוּ עַל-יָם בְּיַם-סוּף. 7 Our fathers in Egypt gave no heed unto Thy wonders; {N}
they remembered not the multitude of Thy mercies; {N}
but were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.
8 Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake, that He might make His mighty power to be known.
9 And He rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up; and He led them through the depths, as through a wilderness.
10 And He saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11 And the waters covered their adversaries; there was not one of them left.
12 Then believed they His words; they sang His praise.
יג מִהֲרוּ, שָׁכְחוּ מַעֲשָׂיו; לֹא-חִכּוּ, לַעֲצָתוֹ. 13 They soon forgot His works; they waited not for His counsel;
14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tried God in the desert.
15 And He gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
16 They were jealous also of Moses in the camp, and of Aaron the holy one of the LORD.
17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped a molten image.
20 Thus they exchanged their glory for the likeness of an ox that eateth grass.
כא שָׁכְחוּ, אֵל מוֹשִׁיעָם– עֹשֶׂה גְדֹלוֹת בְּמִצְרָיִם. 21 They forgot God their saviour, who had done great things in Egypt;
22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, terrible things by the Red Sea.
לוּלֵי, מֹשֶׁה בְחִירוֹ– עָמַד בַּפֶּרֶץ לְפָנָיו;
לְהָשִׁיב חֲמָתוֹ, מֵהַשְׁחִית. 23 Therefore He said that He would destroy them, {N}
had not Moses His chosen stood before Him in the breach, {N}
to turn back His wrath, lest He should destroy them.
כד וַיִּמְאֲסוּ, בְּאֶרֶץ חֶמְדָּה; לֹא-הֶאֱמִינוּ, לִדְבָרוֹ. 24 Moreover, they scorned the desirable land, they believed not His word;
25 And they murmured in their tents, they hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
כו וַיִּשָּׂא יָדוֹ לָהֶם– לְהַפִּיל אוֹתָם, בַּמִּדְבָּר. 26 Therefore He swore concerning them, that He would overthrow them in the wilderness;
27 And that He would cast out their seed among the nations, and scatter them in the lands.
28 They joined themselves also unto Baal of Peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29 Thus they provoked Him with their doings, and the plague broke in upon them.
30 Then stood up Phinehas, and wrought judgment, and so the plague was stayed.
31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness, unto all generations for ever.
לב וַיַּקְצִיפוּ, עַל-מֵי מְרִיבָה; וַיֵּרַע לְמֹשֶׁה, בַּעֲבוּרָם. 32 They angered Him also at the waters of Meribah, and it went ill with Moses because of them;
33 For they embittered his spirit, and he spoke rashly with his lips.
לד לֹא-הִשְׁמִידוּ, אֶת-הָעַמִּים– אֲשֶׁר אָמַר יְהוָה לָהֶם. 34 They did not destroy the peoples, as the LORD commanded them;
לה וַיִּתְעָרְבוּ בַגּוֹיִם; וַיִּלְמְדוּ, מַעֲשֵׂיהֶם. 35 But mingled themselves with the nations, and learned their works;
לו וַיַּעַבְדוּ אֶת-עֲצַבֵּיהֶם; וַיִּהְיוּ לָהֶם לְמוֹקֵשׁ. 36 And they served their idols, which became a snare unto them;
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto demons,
לח וַיִּשְׁפְּכוּ דָם נָקִי, דַּם-בְּנֵיהֶם וּבְנוֹתֵיהֶם– אֲשֶׁר זִבְּחוּ, לַעֲצַבֵּי כְנָעַן;
וַתֶּחֱנַף הָאָרֶץ, בַּדָּמִים. 38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan; {N}
and the land was polluted with blood.
39 Thus were they defiled with their works, and went astray in their doings.
40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against His people, and He abhorred His inheritance.
41 And He gave them into the hand of the nations; and they that hated them ruled over them.
42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were subdued under their hand.
וְהֵמָּה, יַמְרוּ בַעֲצָתָם; וַיָּמֹכּוּ, בַּעֲו‍ֹנָם. 43 Many times did He deliver them; {N}
but they were rebellious in their counsel, and sank low through their iniquity.
מד וַיַּרְא, בַּצַּר לָהֶם– בְּשָׁמְעוֹ, אֶת-רִנָּתָם. 44 Nevertheless He looked upon their distress, when He heard their cry;
45 And He remembered for them His covenant, and repented according to the multitude of His mercies.
46 He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captive.
לְהֹדוֹת, לְשֵׁם קָדְשֶׁךָ; לְהִשְׁתַּבֵּחַ, בִּתְהִלָּתֶךָ. 47 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the nations, {N}
that we may give thanks unto Thy holy name, that we may triumph in Thy praise.
הַלְלוּ-יָהּ. 48 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting, {N}
and let all the people say: ‘Amen.’ {N}
Hallelujah. {P}
Chapter 107

1 ‘O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.’
ב יֹאמְרוּ, גְּאוּלֵי יְהוָה– אֲשֶׁר גְּאָלָם, מִיַּד-צָר. 2 So let the redeemed of the LORD say, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary;
3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the sea.
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way; they found no city of habitation.
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses.
7 And He led them by a straight way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8 Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For He hath satisfied the longing soul, and the hungry soul He hath filled with good.
10 Such as sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron–
11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the Most High.
12 Therefore He humbled their heart with travail, they stumbled, and there was none to help–
13 They cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses.
14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bands in sunder.
15 Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
16 For He hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
17 Crazed because of the way of their transgression, and afflicted because of their iniquities–
18 Their soul abhorred all manner of food, and they drew near unto the gates of death–
יט וַיִּזְעֲקוּ אֶל-יְהוָה, בַּצַּר לָהֶם; מִמְּצֻקוֹתֵיהֶם יוֹשִׁיעֵם. 19 They cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses;
20 He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their graves.
21 Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
22 And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with singing.
23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters–
כד ] הֵמָּה רָאוּ, מַעֲשֵׂי יְהוָה; וְנִפְלְאוֹתָיו, בִּמְצוּלָה. 24 These saw the works of the LORD, and His wonders in the deep;
כה ] וַיֹּאמֶר–וַיַּעֲמֵד, רוּחַ סְעָרָה; וַתְּרוֹמֵם גַּלָּיו. 25 For He commanded, and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves thereof;
כו ] יַעֲלוּ שָׁמַיִם, יֵרְדוּ תְהוֹמוֹת; נַפְשָׁם, בְּרָעָה תִתְמוֹגָג. 26 They mounted up to the heaven, they went down to the deeps; their soul melted away because of trouble;
27 They reeled to and fro, and staggered like a drunken man, and all their wisdom was swallowed up–
28 They cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distresses.
29 He made the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof were still.
30 Then were they glad because they were quiet, and He led them unto their desired haven.
31 Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
32 Let them exalt Him also in the assembly of the people, and praise Him in the seat of the elders.
לג יָשֵׂם נְהָרוֹת לְמִדְבָּר; וּמֹצָאֵי מַיִם, לְצִמָּאוֹן. 33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and watersprings into a thirsty ground;
34 A fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
35 He turneth a wilderness into a pool of water, and a dry land into watersprings.
לו וַיּוֹשֶׁב שָׁם רְעֵבִים; וַיְכוֹנְנוּ, עִיר מוֹשָׁב. 36 And there He maketh the hungry to dwell, and they establish a city of habitation;
37 And sow fields, and plant vineyards, which yield fruits of increase.
38 He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly, and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
39 Again, they are minished and dwindle away through oppression of evil and sorrow.
40 He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the waste, where there is no way.
41 Yet setteth He the needy on high from affliction, and maketh his families like a flock.
42 The upright see it, and are glad; and all iniquity stoppeth her mouth.
מג מִי-חָכָם וְיִשְׁמָר-אֵלֶּה; וְיִתְבּוֹנְנוּ, חַסְדֵי יְהוָה. 43 Whoso is wise, let him observe these things, and let them consider the mercies of the LORD. {P}
Chapter 108

1 A Song, a Psalm of David. 2 My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises, even with my glory.
3 Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake the dawn.
4 I will give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the peoples; and I will sing praises unto Thee among the nations.
5 For Thy mercy is great above the heavens, and Thy truth reacheth unto the skies.
6 Be Thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; and Thy glory be above all the earth.
7 That Thy beloved may be delivered, save with Thy right hand, and answer me.
8 God spoke in His holiness, that I would exult; that I would divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
9 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defence of my head; Judah is my sceptre.
10 Moab is my washpot; upon Edom do I cast my shoe; over Philistia do I cry aloud.
11 Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me unto Edom?
12 Hast not Thou cast us off, O God? and Thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts?
13 Give us help against the adversary; for vain is the help of man.
יד בֵּאלֹהִים נַעֲשֶׂה-חָיִל; וְהוּא, יָבוּס צָרֵינוּ. 14 Through God we shall do valiantly; for He it is that will tread down our adversaries. {P}
Chapter 109

אֱלֹהֵי תְהִלָּתִי, אַל-תֶּחֱרַשׁ. 1 For the Leader. A Psalm of David. {N}
O God of my praise, keep not silence;
2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit have they opened against me; they have spoken unto me with a lying tongue.
3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause.
4 In return for my love they are my adversaries; but I am all prayer.
5 And they have laid upon me evil for good, and hatred for my love:
6 ‘Set Thou a wicked man over him; and let an adversary stand at his right hand.
7 When he is judged, let him go forth condemned; and let his prayer be turned into sin.
8 Let his days be few; let another take his charge.
9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
10 Let his children be vagabonds, and beg; and let them seek their bread out of their desolate places.
11 Let the creditor distrain all that he hath; and let strangers make spoil of his labour.
12 Let there be none to extend kindness unto him; neither let there be any to be gracious unto his fatherless children.
13 Let his posterity be cut off; in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be brought to remembrance unto the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
15 Let them be before the LORD continually, that He may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
וַיִּרְדֹּף, אִישׁ-עָנִי וְאֶבְיוֹן–וְנִכְאֵה לֵבָב; לְמוֹתֵת. 16 Because that he remembered not to do kindness, {N}
but persecuted the poor and needy man, and the broken in heart he was ready to slay.
17 Yea, he loved cursing, and it came unto him; and he delighted not in blessing, and it is far from him.
18 He clothed himself also with cursing as with his raiment, and it is come into his inward parts like water, and like oil into his bones.
19 Let it be unto him as the garment which he putteth on, and for the girdle wherewith he is girded continually.’
20 This would mine adversaries effect from the LORD, and they that speak evil against my soul.
כא וְאַתָּה, יְהוִה אֲדֹנָי– עֲשֵׂה-אִתִּי, לְמַעַן שְׁמֶךָ;
כִּי-טוֹב חַסְדְּךָ, הַצִּילֵנִי. 21 But Thou, O GOD the Lord, deal with me for Thy name’s sake; {N}
because Thy mercy is good, deliver Thou me.
22 For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
23 I am gone like the shadow when it lengtheneth; I am shaken off as the locust.
24 My knees totter through fasting; and my flesh is lean, and hath no fatness.
25 I am become also a taunt unto them; when they see me, they shake their head.
כו עָזְרֵנִי, יְהוָה אֱלֹהָי; הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי כְחַסְדֶּךָ. 26 Help me, O LORD my God; O save me according to Thy mercy;
27 That they may know that this is Thy hand; that Thou, LORD, hast done it.
28 Let them curse, but bless Thou; when they arise, they shall be put to shame, but Thy servant shall rejoice.
29 Mine adversaries shall be clothed with confusion, and shall put on their own shame as a robe.
ל אוֹדֶה יְהוָה מְאֹד בְּפִי; וּבְתוֹךְ רַבִּים אֲהַלְלֶנּוּ. 30 I will give great thanks unto the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise Him among the multitude;
לא כִּי-יַעֲמֹד, לִימִין אֶבְיוֹן– לְהוֹשִׁיעַ, מִשֹּׁפְטֵי נַפְשׁוֹ. 31 Because He standeth at the right hand of the needy, to save him from them that judge his soul. {P}
Chapter 110

נְאֻם יְהוָה, לַאדֹנִי–שֵׁב לִימִינִי; עַד-אָשִׁית אֹיְבֶיךָ, הֲדֹם לְרַגְלֶיךָ. 1 A Psalm of David. {N}
The LORD saith unto my lord: ‘Sit thou at My right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.’
2 The rod of Thy strength the LORD will send out of Zion: ‘Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.’
בְּהַדְרֵי-קֹדֶשׁ, מֵרֶחֶם מִשְׁחָר; לְךָ, טַל יַלְדֻתֶיךָ. 3 Thy people offer themselves willingly in the day of thy warfare; {N}
in adornments of holiness, from the womb of the dawn, thine is the dew of thy youth.
ד נִשְׁבַּע יְהוָה, וְלֹא יִנָּחֵם– אַתָּה-כֹהֵן לְעוֹלָם;
עַל-דִּבְרָתִי, מַלְכִּי-צֶדֶק. 4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent: ‘Thou art a priest for ever {N}
after the manner of Melchizedek.’
5 The Lord at thy right hand doth crush kings in the day of His wrath.
6 He will judge among the nations; He filleth it with dead bodies, He crusheth the head over a wide land.
ז מִנַּחַל, בַּדֶּרֶךְ יִשְׁתֶּה; עַל-כֵּן, יָרִים רֹאשׁ. 7 He will drink of the brook in the way; therefore will he lift up the head. {P}
Chapter 111

אוֹדֶה יְהוָה, בְּכָל-לֵבָב; בְּסוֹד יְשָׁרִים וְעֵדָה. 1 Hallelujah. {N}
I will give thanks unto the LORD with my whole heart, in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.
2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have delight therein.

7 The works of His hands are truth and justice; all His precepts are sure.

Holy and awful is His name.

His praise endureth for ever. {P}
Chapter 112

Chapter 114

א בְּצֵאת יִשְׂרָאֵל, מִמִּצְרָיִם; בֵּית יַעֲקֹב, מֵעַם לֹעֵז. 1 When Israel came forth out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.
13 He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
14 The LORD increase you more and more, you and your children.
15 Blessed be ye of the LORD who made heaven and earth.
16 The heavens are the heavens of the LORD; but the earth hath He given to the children of men.
יז לֹא הַמֵּתִים, יְהַלְלוּ-יָהּ; וְלֹא, כָּל-יֹרְדֵי דוּמָה. 17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence;
הַלְלוּ-יָהּ. 18 But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for ever. {N}
Hallelujah.
Chapter 116

1 I love that the LORD should hear my voice and my supplications.
2 Because He hath inclined His ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him all my days.
3 The cords of death compassed me, and the straits of the nether-world got hold upon me; I found trouble and sorrow.
4 But I called upon the name of the LORD: ‘I beseech thee, O LORD, deliver my soul.’
5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is compassionate.
6 The LORD preserveth the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.
7 Return, O my soul, unto thy rest; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 For Thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling.
9 I shall walk before the LORD in the lands of the living.
10 I trusted even when I spoke: ‘I am greatly afflicted.’
11 I said in my haste: ‘All men are liars.’
12 How can I repay unto the LORD all His bountiful dealings toward me?
13 I will lift up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
14 My vows will I pay unto the LORD, yea, in the presence of all His people.
15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.
אֲנִי-עַבְדְּךָ, בֶּן-אֲמָתֶךָ; פִּתַּחְתָּ, לְמוֹסֵרָי. 16 I beseech Thee, O LORD, for I am Thy servant; {N}
I am Thy servant, the son of Thy handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bands.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
יח נְדָרַי, לַיהוָה אֲשַׁלֵּם; נֶגְדָה-נָּא, לְכָל-עַמּוֹ. 18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD, yea, in the presence of all His people;
הַלְלוּ-יָהּ. 19 In the courts of the LORD’S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. {N}
Hallelujah.
Chapter 117

1 O praise the LORD, all ye nations; laud Him, all ye peoples.
הַלְלוּ-יָהּ. 2 For His mercy is great toward us; and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. {N}
Hallelujah.
