The August 3 Bible

Psalms – 31,17 Make Thy face to shine upon Thy servant;
save me in Thy lovingkindness.
31,18 O LORD, let me not be ashamed, for I have called upon Thee;
let the wicked be ashamed, let them be put to silence in the nether-world.
31,19 Let the lying lips be dumb, which speak arrogantly against the righteous, with pride and contempt.
31,20 Oh how abundant is Thy goodness, which Thou hast laid up for them that fear Thee; {N}
which Thou hast wrought for them that take their refuge in Thee, in the sight of the sons of men!
31,21 Thou hidest them in the covert of Thy presence from the plottings of man; {N}
Thou concealest them in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

Genesis – 39,13 And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth,
39,14 that she called unto the men of her house, and spoke unto them, saying:
‘See, he hath brought in a Hebrew unto us to mock us;
he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice.
39,15 And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment by me, and fled, and got him out.’
39,16 And she laid up his garment by her, until his master came home.
39,17 And she spoke unto him according to these words, saying:
‘The Hebrew servant, whom thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me.
39,18 And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment by me, and fled out.’
39,19 And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spoke unto him, saying:
‘After this manner did thy servant to me’;
that his wrath was kindled.
39,20 And Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were bound;
and he was there in the prison.
39,21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and showed kindness unto him, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
39,22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison;
and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.
39,23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand, because the LORD was with him; and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper. {P}

40,1 And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker offended their lord the king of Egypt.
40,2 And Pharaoh was wroth against his two officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers.
40,3 And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.
40,4 And the captain of the guard charged Joseph to be with them, and he ministered unto them;
and they continued a season in ward.
40,5 And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream, in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were bound in the prison.
40,6 And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and saw them, and, behold, they were sad.

Isaiah – 66,20 And they shall bring all your brethren out of all the nations for an offering unto the LORD, upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to My holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring their offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
66,21 And of them also will I take for the priests and for the Levites, saith the LORD.
66,22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before Me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
66,23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before Me, saith the LORD.
66,24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have rebelled against Me; for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. {P}

Ezra – E 6,16 And the children of Israel, the priests and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy.
E 6,17 And they offered at the dedication of this house of God a hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs;
and for a sin-offering for all Israel, twelve he-goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
E 6,18 And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, which is at Jerusalem;
as it is written in the book of Moses. {P}
E 6,19 And the children of the captivity kept the passover upon the fourteenth day of the first month.
E 6,20 For the priests and the Levites had purified themselves together;
all of them were pure;
and they killed the passover lamb for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.
E 6,21 And the children of Israel, that were come back out of the captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the nations of the land, to seek the LORD, the God of Israel, did eat,
E 6,22 and kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy;
for the LORD had made them joyful, and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel. {P}

E 7,1 Now after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah,
E 7,2 the son of Shallum, the son of Zadok, the son of Ahitub,
E 7,3 the son of Amariah, the son of Azariah, the son of Meraioth,
E 7,4 the son of Zerahiah, the son of Uzzi, the son of Bukki,
E 7,5 the son of Abishua, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the chief priest–
E 7,6 this Ezra went up from Babylon;
and he was a ready scribe in the Law of Moses, which the LORD, the God of Israel, had given;
and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him. {P}

E 7,7 And there went up some of the children of Israel, and of the priests, and the Levites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinim, unto Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king.
E 7,8 And he came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of the king.

Mark 12:1 – And he began to discourse with them in parables.
A certain man planted a vinery, and surrounded it with an enclosure, and dug in it a wine-press, and built in it a tower, and gave it to be held by husbandmen, and journeyed.
Mark 12:2 – And he sent to the husbandmen his servant in the time to receive the fruits of the vinery.
Mark 12:3 – But they beat him, and sent him away empty.
Mark 12:4 – He sent to them again another servant;
and also that one they stoned, and bruised him, and sent him away with dishonour.
Mark 12:5 – And he sent again another, and him they killed;
and many other servants he sent, and of them they beat, (and) of them they killed.
Mark 12:6 – But at last having one son, the beloved, he sent him to them;
for he said, Now will they be confounded by my son.
Mark 12:7 – But those husbandmen said among themselves,
This is the heir;
come let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.
Mark 12:8 – And they took and killed him, and cast him without from the vinery.
Mark 12:9 – What therefore shall the Lord of the vinery do ?
He will come, destroy those labourers, and will give the vinery to others.
Mark 12:10 – And also that scripture have you not read,
The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner ?
Mark 12:11 – from the Lord is this done, and it is wondrous in our eyes.

1John 4:1 – MY beloved, believe not all spirits, but discern the spirits whether they be from Aloha;
because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.
1John 4:2 – By this we know the Spirit of Aloha:
Every spirit who confesseth that Jeshu Meshiha hath come in the flesh, is from Aloha.
1John 4:3 – And every spirit who confesseth not that Jeshu hath come in the flesh, is not from Aloha: but this is from that false meshiha, of whom you have heard that he cometh, and now is in the world already.
1John 4:4 – But you of Aloha are the children, and have overcome them;
because greater is he who is with you, than he who is in the world.
1John 4:5 – And these are of the world, therefore the world heareth them.
1John 4:6 – But we are of Aloha;
and he who knoweth Aloha heareth us;
and he who is not of Aloha heareth us not.
In this itself we perceive the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deception.
