Psalms 66,1 For the Leader. A Song, a Psalm. Shout unto God, all the earth; 66,2 Sing praises unto the glory of His name; make His praise glorious.
66,3 Say unto God: ‘How tremendous is Thy work! Through the greatness of Thy power shall Thine enemies dwindle away before Thee.
66,4 All the earth shall worship Thee, and shall sing praises unto Thee; they shall sing praises to Thy name.’ Selah
66,5 Come, and see the works of God; He is terrible in His doing toward the children of men.
66,6 He turned the sea into dry land; they went through the river on foot; there let us rejoice in Him!

TheJul12Bible/Genesis

Genesis 33,13 And he said unto him: ‘My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and that the flocks and herds giving suck are a care to me; and if they overdrive them one day, all the flocks will die. 33,14 Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant; and I will journey on gently, according to the pace of the cattle that are before me and according to the pace of the children, until I come unto my lord unto Seir.’ 33,15 And Esau said: ‘Let me now leave with thee some of the folk that are with me.’ And he said: ‘What needeth it? let me find favour in the sight of my lord.’ 33,16 So Esau returned that day on his way unto Seir. 33,17 And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him a house, and made booths for his cattle. Therefore the name of the place is called Succoth. {S} 33,18 And Jacob came in peace to the city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Paddan-aram; and encamped before the city. 33,19 And he bought the parcel of ground, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem’s father, for a hundred pieces of money. 33,20 And he erected there an altar, and called it El-elohe-Israel. {S} 34,1 And Dinah the daughter of Leah, whom she had borne unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land. 34,2 And Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, the prince of the land, saw her; and he took her, and lay with her, and humbled her. 34,3 And his soul did cleave unto Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and spoke comfortingly unto the damsel. 34,4 And Shechem spoke unto his father Hamor, saying: ‘Get me this damsel to wife.’ 34,5 Now Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter; and his sons were with his cattle in the field; and Jacob held his peace until they came. 34,6 And Hamor the father of Shechem went out unto Jacob to speak with him. 34,7 And the sons of Jacob came in from the field when they heard it; and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought a vile deed in Israel in lying with Jacob’s daughter; which thing ought not to be done. 34,8 And Hamor spoke with them, saying ‘The soul of my son Shechem longeth for your daughter. I pray you give her unto him to wife.

TheJul12Bible/Isaiah

Isaiah 30,9 For it is a rebellious people, lying children, children that refuse to hear the teaching of the LORD; 30,10 That say to the seers: ‘See not,’ and to the prophets: ‘Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy delusions; 30,11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.’ {S} 30,12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel: because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon; 30,13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant. 30,14 And He shall break it as a potter’s vessel is broken, breaking it in pieces without sparing; so that there shall not be found among the pieces thereof a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water out of the cistern. {S} 30,15 For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel: in sitting still and rest shall ye be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength; and ye would not. 30,16 But ye said: ‘No, for we will flee upon horses’; therefore shall ye flee; and: ‘We will ride upon the swift’; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. 30,17 One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one, at the rebuke of five shall ye flee; till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on a hill. 30,18 And therefore will the LORD wait, that He may be gracious unto you, and therefore will He be exalted, that He may have compassion upon you; for the LORD is a God of justice, happy are all they that wait for Him. {P}
30,19 For, O people that dwellest in Zion at Jerusalem, thou shalt weep no more; He will surely be gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry, when He shall hear, He will answer thee. 30,20 And though the Lord give you sparing bread and scant water, yet shall not thy Teacher hide Himself any more, but thine eyes shall see thy Teacher; 30,21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying: ‘This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.’ 30,22 And ye shall defile thy graven images overlaid with silver, and thy molten images covered with gold; thou shalt put them far away as one unclean; thou shalt say unto it: ‘Get thee hence.’ 30,23 And He will give the rain for thy seed, wherewith thou sowest the ground, and bread of the increase of the ground, and it shall be fat and plenteous; in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures. 30,24 The oxen likewise and the young asses that till the ground shall eat savoury provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan. 30,25 And there shall be upon every lofty mountain, and upon every high hill streams and watercourses, in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. 30,26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of the seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the bruise of His people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. {P}
30,27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, with His anger burning, and in thick uplifting of smoke; His lips are full of indignation, and His tongue is as a devouring fire; 30,28 And His breath is as an overflowing stream, that divideth even unto the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of destruction; and a bridle that causeth to err shall be in the jaws of the peoples. 30,29 Ye shall have a song as in the night when a feast is hallowed; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with the pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the Rock of Israel. 30,30 And the LORD will cause His glorious voice to be heard, and will show the lighting down of His arm, with furious anger, and the flame of a devouring fire, with a bursting of clouds, and a storm of rain, and hailstones. 30,31 For through the voice of the LORD shall Asshur be dismayed, the rod with which He smote. 30,32 And in every place where the appointed staff shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps; and in battles of wielding will He fight with them. 30,33 For a hearth is ordered of old; yea, for the king it is prepared, deep and large; the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it. {P}

TheJul12Bible/Daniel

Daniel 7,15 As for me Daniel, my spirit was pained in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head affrighted me. 7,16 I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth concerning all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things: 7,17 ‘These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, that shall arise out of the earth. 7,18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.’ 7,19 Then I desired to know the truth concerning the fourth beast, which was diverse from all of them, exceeding terrible, whose teeth were of iron, and its nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with its feet; 7,20 and concerning the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up, and before which three fell; even that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke great things, whose appearance was greater than that of its fellows. 7,21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; 7,22 until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given for the saints of the Most High; and the time came, and the saints possessed the kingdom. 7,23 Thus he said: ‘The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all the kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. 7,24 And as for the ten horns, out of this kingdom shall ten kings arise; and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the former, and he shall put down three kings. 7,25 And he shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High; and he shall think to change the seasons and the law; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and half a time. 7,26 But the judgment shall sit, and his dominions shall be taken away, to be consumed and to be destroy unto the end. 7,27 And the kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; their kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey them.’ 7,28 Here is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my thoughts much affrighted me, and my countenance was changed in me; but I kept the matter in my heart. {P}

TheJul12Bible/Luke

LUKE 11,1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
2And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. 3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
5And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;
6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?
7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.
8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.
9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

Today’s5Psalms126

“He shall come in joy”
Today’s 5 Psalms Chapter 126
1 A song from thoughts going up. {N}
In THE ETERNAL ONE returning He will us bring back Zion.
We will be like unto them that dream.
2 Then our mouth will be filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing; {N} then will be said in the gatherings:
‘THE ETERNAL ONE hath done great things with these.’
3 THE ETERNAL ONE hath done great things with us; we are rejoiced. 4 Turn our captivity, O Eternal One, as the streams in the desert. 5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 Though he goeth on his way weeping that beareth the measure of seed, {N} he shall come in joy, bearing sheaves. {P}

Today’s5Psalms127

“So He giveth unto His beloved in sleep”
Today’s 5 Psalms Chapter 127
1 A Song from thoughts going up; for Solomon. {N}
Except The Eternal One build the house, they labour in vain that build it; {N} except The Eternal One keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. 2 It is vain for you that ye rise early, and sit up late, {N} ye that eat the bread of toil; {N}
so He giveth unto His beloved in sleep.
3 Lo, sons are a heritage of The Eternal One; the fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the sons of one’s youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them; {N}
they shall not be disappointed, because they will speak with their enemies in the gate. {P}

Today’s5Psalms128

“Surely thus shall the man be blessed”
Today’s 5 Psalms Chapter 128
1 A Song from thoughts going up. {N}
Happy are all who honor THE ETERNAL ONE, the ones walk in His paths,
2 You will eat the labour of thy hands, happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. 3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of thy house; {N} thy sons like olive plants, round about thy table.
4 Behold, because surely thus shall the man be blessed that honors THE ETERNAL ONE.
5 THE ETERNAL ONE bless thee out of Zion; and see in goodness Jerusalem all the days of thy life; 6 And see thy sons’s sons.
Peace be upon Israel! {P}

Today’s5Psalms129

“They that hate Zion”
Today’s 5 Psalms Chapter 129
1 A Song of thoughts for the going up. {N}
‘Much have they afflicted me from my youth up’,
Israel will now speak;
2 ‘Much have they afflicted me from my youth up; gathering they have not prevailed against me. 3 The plowers plowed upon my back; they made long their furrows. 4 THE ETERNAL ONE is righteous; He hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.’ 5 They will be disappointed and turned backward, all they that hate Zion.
6 They will be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it springeth up;
7 Wherewith the reaper filleth not his hand, nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom. 8 And never do they that go by say:
‘The blessing of THE ETERNAL ONE be upon you; {N}
we bless you in the name of THE ETERNAL ONE.’ {P}

Today’s5Psalms130

“He will redeem Israel from all his evils”
Today’s 5 Psalms Chapter 130
1 A Song from the thoughts going up. {N}
Out of the depths have I called Thee THE ETERNAL ONE.
2 O Sovereign, hearken unto my voice; {N}
Thine ears will be attentive for the voice of my supplications.
3 When Thou, O ETERNAL ONE, shouldest mark evils, O ETERNAL ONE, who could stand? 4 Because with Thee there is pardon, for the sake that Thou will be honored. 5 I wait for THE ETERNAL ONE, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.
6 My soul waiteth for THE ETERNAL ONE, more than watchmen for the morning; yea, more than watchmen for the morning.
7 O Israel, hope in THE ETERNAL ONE; because with THE ETERNAL ONE there is loyalty, and with Him is plenteous redemption. 8 And He will redeem Israel from all his evils. {P}

“There will be lights” Day 4 Created

And God spoke:
‘There will be lights in the firmament of the heaven for distinguishing between the day and between the night; and they will be for teaching, and for appointments, and for days and years;
and they will be for lights in the firmament of the heaven for lighting upon the earth.’ And it will be so.
And God will make the two great lights: the great light to marshal the day, and the small light to marshal the night and the stars.
And God will give them in the firmament of the heaven for the light upon the earth,
and for marshaling for day and for night and for dividing between the light and the darkness; and God will see because He is good. And there will be evening and there will be morning, a fourth day. {P}

“Remember the Sabbath” Commandment No. 4

ז זָכוֹר אֶת-יוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת, לְקַדְּשׁוֹ. Exodus 20,7 Remember the sabbath day, for ye keep Him sanctified.
ח שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים תַּעֲבֹד, וְעָשִׂיתָ כָּל-מְלַאכְתֶּךָ. 8 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work;
ט וְיוֹם, הַשְּׁבִיעִי–שַׁבָּת, לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ: לֹא-תַעֲשֶׂה כָל-מְלָאכָה אַתָּה וּבִנְךָ וּבִתֶּךָ, עַבְדְּךָ וַאֲמָתְךָ וּבְהֶמְתֶּךָ, וְגֵרְךָ, אֲשֶׁר בִּשְׁעָרֶיךָ. 9 but the seventh day is a sabbath unto JEHOVAH-THE ETERNAL ONE thy Mighty One, in it thou shalt not do any manner of work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy man-servant, nor thy maid-servant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates;
י כִּי שֵׁשֶׁת-יָמִים עָשָׂה יְהוָה אֶת-הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֶת-הָאָרֶץ, אֶת-הַיָּם וְאֶת-כָּל-אֲשֶׁר-בָּם, וַיָּנַח, בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי; עַל-כֵּן, בֵּרַךְ יְהוָה אֶת-יוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת–וַיְקַדְּשֵׁהוּ. {ס} 10 because in six days JEHOVAH-THE ETERNAL ONE made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested on the seventh day; upon that JEHOVAH-THE ETERNAL ONE blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed Him. {S}
